ok so after a long break from poker from busting out i've learned that if i play just cuz i needed the money i play crappy poker. After playing live games around Texas i've realized i'm a better MTT player and that's what i'm gonna play from now on instead of full ring. so far since i made my initial deposit of $140 on PStars i've brought my bankroll up to $600 and things are looking good.
I haven't been playing much for the last few days (except for yesterday). I played semi-good because I made some shitty plays where I tried to be too fancy. Nothing interesting is going on really. Here are my stats:
It's a bit on Stars and the rest is on Prima. I still haven't made the video as my microphone doesn't work properly. It's so quiet that I can barely hear anything when I'm making a video. I tried all options and settings in windows, camtasia etc and it didn't help. So I'll probably just get a new mic. And hopefully I'll make the video by Sunday.
Apart from poker I've been watching loads of TV series. I watched all 3 seasons of Entourage in like 4 or 5 days. This show is sooooo good. And Ari Gold just owns. Too bad that each episode lasts for like 25 minutes and I need to wait for a week now to get a new one.

Yesterday I went to my friends' name-day and had quite a few beers. On my way to home I obviously had a kebab. Today I woke up about 2pm and watched first episode of The Wire and it seemed kinda boring. I'm also downloading Nip/Tuck and Sopranos so maybe they'll be better. Any other shows you could recommend? I've already watched Prison Break, Heroes, Rome, Coupling and I don't like Lost.
I only played a short session where I ran like shit. I'm quite hangover and tired so I probably won't play anymore today. My roll is getting close to 6k so I'll probable take a shot at nl200 soon, probably next week. Oh and I played Sunday Million on Stars and got fucked right after 1st break. Holla
Down 6 BI's the last two sessions, and I can pinpoint at least two of those on pure TILT (see AQcc AI PF). Over the past two sessions I've been felted 4 times, and my biggest winner was 50BB's. Pure fecal.
After a hot start, I'm back to even for the month, and I gotta tell you -- it feels like shit.
today was cos i won a tournament for 300 and made 80 at cashgames so feeling good
played for about 5 hrs and played 3000 money hands on 12 tables... i read that you gotta play lots of tables to make money and 12 is the most partypoker allows
i decided to move to 10nl even though its only 1 day because i have almost 500 bankroll
i think it might be a bit harder because i noticed that often most people on the table would fold, which is pretty rare. soi guess it means they only play the best hands so ill watch out for those guys
been reading the articles on this site and theyre fucking amazing, every sentence makes me learn something new and i feel like the difference in my skill from yesterday is huge
wish me luck at 10nl =D if i lose 40 or 50 ill go to 5nl and try to get better. im focusing really hard on how players bet and how i can read their hands. one day ill make reads like sakisaki over there with 84suited lol

That's right baby! I had a winning day yesterday and won about $850 in 600 hands so I immediately stopped just to say I had a winning day. Today it started as break even for my first 1000 hands, then randomly at one of my only 4 tables I was told that I got dealt into the milestone hand! ZOMG???? To my surprise I found that I was dealt AK at that table!!! OMG OMG OMG!?!?! As you can see, I didn't win. So rigged. The most hilarious thing is: "Duckslayer2k leaves the table", poor guy thought our table froze and left before the milestone hand was dealt! LOL Total Donkey! Oh well, I lost that $200 stack, but PokerStars depositted $880 to my account just for getting dealt into the hand which is cool, so I netted $660. The actual winner got $2200 because he was a SilverStar. What a waste. Overall I had a winning day so I'm happy, my luck might be changing for the better! WOOOT
Played a short session today, got KK 4 times and lost 2,5 BI. Deck was horribly cold but managed to not tilt like crazy when it happened wich is enough to make me think i can handle bad beats now. Pretty standarts suck out, i would not even say anything and played good till end of session, i was even amused when it happened (is that a good sign ?).
I registered in a limit donkament by accident yesterday and placed 4th/315. It's so fucking long and boring, everybody draw their hands so it's like a huge lottery, u can make difference only by folding premium hands when you know u re beat, pot odds are always good so it's funny to draw out on people and watch them complaining about how bad you play, and you're a fish and blablabla. These guys don't even know what pot odds are, if they start with top pair and bet, you re supposed to fold even when you're offered 5:1.
Made it to the final table chips leader then got sucked out twice in a row, blinds were huge and i had to go all-in with some marginal hands, whatever, limit sucks, it's so fucking long, requires no skill and is boring as fuck.I'll look after that shit since it was a nice BR boost tho, if i can make more money faster...
So today I decided to play 12 table on 6max at stars to get mad VPP cause of the new promo. At first I was doing bad playin kinda dumb then I decided to basically loosen up a bit and it worked out pretty damn fine if u ask me. The games are MAD soft all the regs are soooo bad. I have no idea how some days I manage to loose money at 200nl(6max) here are the stats and graph.
O-kay, it's a real long time since I last wrote anything on my blog... Let's do a quick replay of last month:
Moved my roll out of PartyPoker for some bonus whoring. Decided to go for pokerroom bonus cause my roommate did it and said the players were extremely bad there -> couple of bad beats, awful monkey tilt and about two weeks later (couldn't play much in the huuuge tilt I was in, it was better to stay away from the tables) the bonus was done and I ended losing $300 WITH the bonus. Nice going by me. Not bad though considering I was at -$1100 at worst. Then I got my game back together and some hands held up <3
Oh well, after that I obv cashed out all I had on pokerroom and started thinking where to go next. I wanted to go on some big site with good software, I hated pokerroom software and I blame it partially for my tilt. After some thinking I thought Full Tilt might be a good site for me considering its name and my first two weeks of April... And it was. I love the software as good as stars imo except for one thing: the tables should notify you with more than a tiny beep when it's asking you to post blinds. I keep missing blind posts when I'm opening my tables if I'm even slightly disturbed with surfing or msn or whatever. I'm used to it now though and it never was a major problem anyway.
Some people were saying here on LPnet that FTP is a rock garden but I disagree. There are enough fishes and while some tables might have a lot of nits just keep looking for better tables... I started at FTP by running really hot, but I think my game has improved too (thanks Muhweli and Robbie!). Now I'm down to earth again... After having a +$500 session last week, I've lost all that and a little more in the two last session. Played a session today and ended up for a change, +$83, ship it! o/
Could've been a lot better again I guess, I made some stupid moves especially against short stacks. Really need to get rid of that habit but I have 0 respect for short stacks and that costs surprisingly lot sometimes.
Also lost JJ v KK on QJx flop, all-in right there -> turn A -> river T -> seweri õ.O
Oh well, I guess I had it coming after running so hot in the start. I'm still 6.62 PTBB / 100 after 8393 hands. I'd post graph but my poker patterns isn't co-operating with me right now...
My roll now is $5k+ and I'm semihappy with that but I really really want to get to $7k and give NL200 a try. I might start taking stabs at NL200 when I get to $6k during weekends when the games are softer. I also had to cashout $500 to get my plane tickets for the summer. I'm going on a two weeks trip with two friends in July. We'll go to Amsterdam (4 nights) from there to London (4 nights) and from there to Barcelona (5 nights)! o/
So yea i entered a few tournaments yesterday, ran like shit in almost all of them, busting as favourite each time aipf. No matter though! I entered one tournament and well, luck was all on my side.
Gathered a commanding chiplead with around 200 players left, and then just kept ploughing through the field until final table where i had 1 million chips, with 2nd being at 600k. Damn everything was looking right for my first victory.
Started off well, eliminated two players. Then all of a sudden my luck changed, got bad beat twice AIPF and my chiplead was gone! Then with only 4 left i made a move at the huge blinds with A9, and got pushed over for my remaining chips, not a lot i can do but call hoping it was a low pair, AK, gg me! Busted in 4th. Not bad i say though. Nice payout.
Oh, did i forget to mention which tournament it was?

hi guys ive been playin poker for a month or so i played some playmoney to get used to it and learn the hands and such
my friend of a friend won 70k at a live tournament and im poor as fuck so i thought gotta start this, i consider myself smart so i reckon i can probably make enough money that i wont have to work at the vidostore anymore ($16/hr... when i can make than $10/hr at poker im quitting my job).
i could go to the casino but its an hour away and it depresses the fuck outta me to see old ladies playing pokies and shit. and everyone there seems like a giant dick in their own special way. im probably not good enough to even beat those guys yet anyway and dont want to gamble that much of my own money

Holla! Just got back from my 10 day trip to albany and new york city. Im jetlagged as fuck and struggling to stay awake right now T_T. Anyways, the trip was a blast, and I have gained some important insights about USA:
1. New York City rocks

So earlier today im sitting on newark airport waiting for my longass flight bored as fuck and decide to buy a bluff magazine to help me kill some time. I was pretty disapointed since most of the magazine was filled with ads and articles about tourney donkeys. Anyways, as i flip through it I stumble upon one article that seem to be interesting. Its about developing your play by always trying to put your opponent on hand ranges and try to make the best play given what you think villians range is. This is something ive been thinking about alot lately and it has helped me improve tons.
I thought the article was a really good introduction to this sort of thinking and MAN was i surprised when I looked to see who wrote it.

After a 10 day break Im really itching to play poker! Im not going to play anything today though since im so jetlagged and tired but tomorrow I will finally get back on the poker horse again.
So we won the live poker league, I got sucked. I raised with AKs to 1000 (150/300 blinds) in mid position, a guy who just sat down at my table went allin. I was thinking and thinking and I finally made the call for about 5500 more in chips, 10-7c - WTF? Of course I can't manage to win an allin when I'm a clear favorite, just like the past 2 months. But i'm not one to bitch about that since we won it.
So I got about $600-700 for being in the team The team got $4500 or so.. I got a $100 tourney ticket at betsson, and hopefully I'll cash there.
Next goal: reaching the finals of the martinspoker league, which will be played in Vegas! I'm the blonde dude with the long hair on the pics
On another note, I rarely play on UB anymore for a few different reasons. But last night I ended up playing there because my girlfriend still plays there to finish earning her bonus. So I ended up playing a 10$ tournament and 6$ bounty there with her. It didn't hit me until after I placed 2nd in the 10$ tourney that:
A) You can't copy and paste your hand from the completely gay hh of ub once you have been knocked out. It just keeps flickering the copied part over and over and the cursor never moves from the top of the hh. Ctrl A doesn't work, highlighting and selecting it doesn't work, nothing works. It's really annoying.
b) Since I don't have ultimate history anymore, I wasn't tracking my hands. I don't manually enter the outcomes into PT wither, so I don't really use anything except my own recollection to improve when it comes to tournaments. I was sending a few hands that I played to my gf over messenger, and then decided that it would be a good idea to start copying and pasting key hands of tournaments into wordpad all the time, and then onto here for analyzation. I decided this after the tournaments so I don't have many hands, but here is a few that I do.
Got the money in when I had the best of it, and poker gods said I was needing a slow down. This is the 10$ tourney Regular cooler

As I said earlier, I placed second. I could not copy and paste the final hand so I don't have the actual hand history of it, I just have my memory from it. Here's what I remember of the heads up part of the tourney.
I had around 20k in chips, villain had about 60k. Villain was running pretty hot, knocking quite a few people out with very marginal hands that were hitting two pair on the flop.
The blinds were 800/1600 with 150? ante. I was on the button and had QTo. I raised pre to about 3x the bb. Villain calls. The flop comes Q9blank (2 I believe) with the Queen and the blank card both being a club.
Villain checks, I bet a little over half the pot, 6k, villain pushes and I call with my remaining 10k or so. Villain shows two pair Q9 and I didn't catch anything on later streets so gg for me. Sucked but what can you do.
In the Bounty tourney I only have one hand copied. I still made the money, but right after making the money, this hand happened. Then two hands later I pushed the rest of my chips with AK in the SB against a limped small pp in middle position, and they held. GG me. Nothing really worth noting in all honesty, but here's the hand I have if your extremely bored. 2outter, nothing special

Well aparently bad runs exist and im in a big one, people keep getting gutshots against my sets, AK vs twopair alot, Set over sets, Overpair vs sets all poker player nightmares. on the good side im getting fpp like crazy, probably will reach goldstar within two days, i really want an ipod video .
