I'll start playing NL100 tomorrow for good (hopefully 8D), I took some shots earlier, I ended up -2 buy ins after 11k hands. First I ran good and was up 5 buy ins at one spot, but then downhill started Can't be arsed to post PT stats of my NL100 experiment ;P

since my friend has his own house and im a degen and so are most of my friends, we decided to have a rock star week. mainly because my friend wrote it on the calender while drunk so we just went with it.

So today was a really long day of poker for me, 13+ hours, but all in all it was a good one. I played in 100,000 tournaments today, and mananged to win $80 by the end of the day doing that. Couldn't really get many first places except first place in 1 of the $216 tournament ticket
tournaments. After getting discusted with tournaments, I opened up 12 NL50 tables and started the grind.
Today's session went very well, I managed to finish up over 6BI by the end of the session, while withstanding some bad beats, but I did run fairly well.
I feel like I now have my own style down, which I would have never been able to formulate without the help of TL.
Last month and before that, my won % @ showdown was always between 42-48, this month I've managed to have it between 52-60% during almost every session. I'm hoping to maintain over 60% full-time, it should drastically increase my win rate.
Anyways, Here's today's stats; (not running 22-25% anymore, only play like that when I'm hitting like Jamie Gold)

After seeing him cry about his downswing of 'epic purportions', I just logged on Stars to see who was around, and saw him sitting alone at a NL50 table!
Well i took a couple of in-car vids in my last rally, i hope you like them:
Tc6: (the notes were a bit slow on the first part but then things started goinig faster, we found at the end of the stage 2 badly crashed Renault Clios, the white one upside down was driven by my best friendwatch the end of the stage)
Tc8: (a stupid woman somehow evaded security and you can see her in her car thankfully on the outside of the corner in minute 1.56, also the tach totally fell off and my girlfriend left a toilet paper (WTF?) at the car and it fell under the pedals! scary shit.)
Here are a couple of pics of the Crash, the story was, the Black Clio RS was from a local, he were winning the event (on D.O.T tires wtf!), he lost control and understeered into the rocks, it climbed them, flipped over and landed on its wheels again, 3 cars behind the white Clio were warned too late about the crash, tried to brake mid-corner, he lost the tail and crashed side to side (on the drivers side) and flew through the airs landing on its roof.
I've noticed some people have had problems with Vista and autohotkey scripts but I've got a setup here to get it working. Doing so will make you lose some pretty colours while running pokerstars but it's not a huge issue, and whenever you quit pokerstars your appearance settings will go back to normal. So:
(You must be running with 32bit colour in your desktop settings)
1. Right click -> 'Properties' on your pokerstars shortcut
2. Go to 'Compatability' tab in the properties
3. Under 'Settings' check "Disable desktop composition" (This needs to be done because the betpot script works off of images/colour in the pokerstars windows and the pixels need to be the precise colours for the script to work)
4. There is a couple possible options here, try them out to see what works for you:
4a. Find your "AutoHotkey.exe" and right click -> 'Properties' and under 'Compatability' again set "Run this program as an administrator" under the 'Privilege Level' area.
4b. Find your betpot script (probably named 'BetPot-v0.2n.ahk' and do right click -> 'Compile script'
5b. Set the resulting .exe file to "Run this progarm as an administrator" the same as outline in step 4a
6. Pot some bets!
You may also want to install your autohotkey to a folder NOT under "Program Files" since that folder is pretty locked down by Vista. I'm not sure if this is necessary but it might help if you are having issues.

I won't be playing as much in July, but I'm still aiming for 35-40k hands and at least $12k total profit. After Thursday, I think I'll make NL $400 my main game for now, with shots at higher limits only when the games are really juicy. I'll also be playing a little bit on Stars if I can ever get money on there, and will probably be playing a few tourneys when I get the chance. Started off July playing some tourneys last night, didn't do too much, pretty much broke even in the UB $25+$2 bounty tournament (made like $17 after bounties), and won a seat in an $11.70 double shootout on Stars, and took the $215 in T$. Will be playing some cash over the next few nights, if I can get $ in Stars I'll probably be at the $200 and $400 games there.
So June has just ended. It was a pretty good month for me (my best ever in terms of poker I guess?) even though I haven't played much. But the most important thing is that I finally managed to move successfully move up to nl200. I'm doing pretty well there so far and I feel like I've got a big edge in this game. I started to play some HU as well (nl100 though cause swings are crazy) and I won a bit.
The reason why I haven't put more hands is cause I had a lot of stuff to do. I came back to Poland on 3rd of June, then I had to meet up with all my friends and family. Then I went to Krakow and to my grandparents. Also I've been partying a lot, going out like at least twice a week so I've got pretty good excuses. But it was a great month - especially in social terms.
Is July going to be different? Dunno, probably not cause I still have so many plans for this summer. I might play 20k hands again but who knows - maybe I'll somehow manage to put like 40-50k. We'll see but I don't want to rush anything. I'm having good time back in Poland and at this point poker is not in the first place.
My bankroll went up to over 9k so I feel pretty confident at nl200. I'm going to play this level for the whole month, with an occasional jump to nl100 HU. I might start taking shots at nl400 when my bankroll gets to 12-14k but first I want to be sure I can easily beat nl200 etc etc.
Apart from that I get like a 45-50% rakeback (not sure how much is it actually cause I've got like 30% guaranteed and the rest is counted based on number of raked hands and it differs a bit every month.
Speaking of the non-poker stuff I had a great weekend. On Friday I went out with my friends and just as I predicted in my last blog entry - I got really pissed and spent too much. At the beginning everything was ok but when I started getting vodkas with redbull I simply couldn't stop. About 4am I took a taxi with my friend and I left my phone in the car. My friend tried to call my number and luckily the driver picked up the phone and was cool enough to bring it back for 20 zlotys. Variance.
Next day I went to my friend's house and I came back.. like 2 hours ago? On Saturday we had quite a few beers and a pizza. On Sunday morning we had a pizza again and then a huge barbecue. In the evening we drank like 2 litres of whisky between 3 of us and I went to bed around 6am. Woke up at noon and obviously my friend ordered some pizzas again. Oh well, I guess this is where my diet ends. Oh and I forgot that I also went to KFC today.. But come on - I survived almost a WEEK!
Now I'm sitting in my room, exhausted, thirsty and I have no idea what to do. I don't think playing poker is a good idea. I guess I'll just make sth to eat (hot dogs? hamburgers?) and watch some tv series. I started watching Nip/Tuck and I must say I really like it.
ZOMG I just realised that I forgot about a new episode of Entourage!!! I'm just about to start downloading it so ship it! Definitely no poker tonight.
Plans for the week? Quite a few:
- 4 of my good friends are going to Spain for the whole summer this Friday so tommorow we're going out for the last time before they leave. The only beat is that this club doesn't have air-conditioning and there are always so many people out there that after an hour you feel like you jumped into the swimming-pool with all your clothes put on.
- When I went out last Friday and I was already drunk I promised my friend to go with him on Thursday to this strip-club. Should be fun. I just can't bring too much cash cause I'll obviously spend everything.
- What's on Friday? They're re-opening my favorite club in Szczecin. Sweet! They had to move it and finally they finished everything and the big opening is this Friday. It's gonna be sooooo awesome. I really can't wait.
- My brother is going for a camp this Thursday and my mum will probably go to the lakeside (is there such a word?) for the whole weekend so I think I'll have some friends of mine to come over on Saturday.

Today Ive played few tournaments and cashed only in one. I ended 2nd place ($600) in Summer Ranking Tournament at Betsson ($20+$5 - know that rake is higher but $3 from $5 of the rake will be added to the prizepool of main tournament). I wasnt able to fold it. Its a pity because the first place guarantee seat at the final, but thats ok - there are also 17 other tournaments and I think that I can qualify easily...
June was a pretty shitty month. Probably my most disappointing month so far. I've had bigger losing months for sure, but not when I've played as many hands as I have this month.
Anyhow, I hit my 50NL goal, and I had my second session this morning (first was on Sunday), and I came out up a bit. Pretty boring overall, but a winner is a winner I guess. I have thousands of hands logged at this level, so nothing really all that suprising. Took me a couple orbits to get used to the betting, but after that it was like I never left. And hopefully I'll last up here for a while. We shall see.
