I went to "requests' and "responsible gambling" and i gave myself a 1 week ban because i have 2 big tests comming up next week and i need to stay focused to Nursing stm, because I enjoy poker so much. My brother also showed me a few things i'm doing wrong, and i tried my best to fix that part of my poker game. Soooo a few days ago I decided that hey, playing heads up would be fun. Played a tiny mini session 2 days ago, ran hot, won a buyin. Played a long session vs some maniac who would 3bet every hand and never fold to 4bets..

http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/295342 - I thought he had a draw here, but turns out I rivered his KT. This led me to doing the same thing again later in the session.. with the same result.

When second heart appeared I knew he continues betting with 1 heart so I decided to proect and raised him. Blah the betsizing should have tipped me off tho.
Ok so at this point I decided I suck at heads up, so I played some 1/2 6 max instead, where I proceeded to run at like 40/30 for a while (settling down at 30/28, and eventually ending up at 24/21 total).
I'm gonna give heads up another shot later (as in much later, as in a few weeks..) most likely, cause it's fun, and I think I'll stick to 1 table. I start playing waaaaay too fast even when just 1 tabling.
Also, I think I'm gonna try to learn how to play limit (watched some Stoxtrader and Schneids limit videos and it really looks very fun), not sure what stakes I should start at to learn tho. My whole limit experience comes from playing the lowest stakes on stars for fun (those have to be the softest games anywhere on the planet btw).
I was too lazy to write this post yesterday. So basically past week was really nice. All the time I was at home because I was cold. I got my 1st 1k day , then managed to win something more and lose something more lol - my goal was to win 14 buy-ins to get my BR up to 10k but I managed to win only about 7,5 - 8,5 BI but that's also very good for me
I dunno why but pretty big number of hands I play on UB are not uploaded to PT and there are lots of errors. Does any of you know how to fix it ?
As you can see I haven't played much. 3,6k hands/week ( it was prolly more than 4k cause a part of UB hands have not been uploaded to PT) is pretty bad IMO but I just didn't feel like playing a lot and I've been trying to find better games. Plus I ran pretty bad the last 2k hands. I got coolered a few times and lost about 1 - 1,5 BI because of a little tilt on Friday when I managed to lose 600$ pretty fast but then won about 500$ from it back. Overall I'm pleased because I finally started to win something and I feel that I play better. Hopefully I can keep it up forever

Just woke up freaked out... I haven't had a nightmare that scared me since I Was a kid xD
Anyways I gotta get to work and I just wanted to jot this down so I can explain it later.
Started off in a basement room, all doors sealed with a few other people + massive amounts of food. seemed like a month or so went by and food was drying up. Something must have happened because before I knew it I was in the streets with 2 other people running. Feeling exhausted I look back and see dark figures following us in the background. My cell phone rings, I see it's the people who stayed in the house, it rings again and stops. I run my ass off for god knows how long and end up having to run into a forest. I see another guy being chased by a wolf looking creature I slowly follow him and he ends up infront of a castle looking building. Apparently the wolf was a guard dog for these people. we get in, talk, as we walk out shit hits the fan, zombies bust in, must have followed me [ooops sorry guyz], so I again make a run for it.
End up in a totally different terrain, picked up by a few random people.
[This is the part where the dream because fucked up]
Somehow end up skiing away from the zombies with a few of them on 4x4's... I also remember singing "A WHOLE NEW WORLDDDDDDDD" as I was skiing down this massive mountain [wtf?]
We end up in narrow mountain passage and we see a rock move and see eyes at the other side. someone already knows its the mafia or some shit and all of a sudden they bust out with pit bulls and guns. the only thing they'd be scared of was the zombies so we started acting like them and biting there dogs and shit. then i got knocked out and woke up in a cell. I look down to my cell [still works aparently] and see a picture of [come home] in blood on the side of a wall. freaked out I start hearing screams from upstairs.
Then I hear a shit load of running down the stairs. Then BOOM zombies fucking up to cell all around us.
I woke up a few minutes later.
Seriously fucked up...
Anyways gotta run to work, I'll work on the story later. Just needed to iron out while I can still remember...

Recently came back from poker after a 2 month break. I can't seem to win anymore, i've already dropped 10 buy ins at 25nl, a level i was killing before i went on break
Then played the 1k Monday, took 50th or so last week, just outside the money but managed to make it in the money this time. Had AQ suited on the button and was short stack, Early/Middle raised, and I pushed whatever I had left. His JJ held up to knock me out but Im happy with the way I played the whole tournament.
I havnt been playing much lately due to college and work again... So just incase people thought i busted (again) i havn't! . Been reading alot of David Sklansky - Theory of Poker too, i've had this book for like a year and never even bothered to read it, HUGE MISTAKE.
Played a small session on 25NL today and managed to run pretty good and found some nice spots to squeeze some value from hands. Like i 3bet very light with 5-5 PF 1 hand and actually managed to win it when the board wasnt even higher than a J, as he called my c-bet and tried to steal on river, i called and he had KQss.
But anyways... heres my PT stats for the day, and i will try and post more once something interesting actually happens . Btw i DO NOT play this tight... its the damn sample size... I'm usually around 24/21 over like 4 tables.

Been a few days of extremes but I feel I'm developing quickly as a poker player, each day stronger than the last. Of course, I'm still a minnow in the ocean of poker but I bully the other minnows. Fairly happy with it. Had my first bad beat session, about 14 buyins in 20 minutes. It hurt, poker gets under your skin in a way I couldn't have understood until I played it. But I quit for the morning and came back stronger, recovering my losses over the next two days.

Checked to me again and i fire out 35$, everyone folds and i scoop the easiest pot of the night for me. Hotshot thought for about 10 seconds before mucking, and hobo negro flashed his toothless gums at me before mucking as well.
This was an intresting hand for the following reasons:
I gained 60$, as well as a toothless smile and an angry glare from a guy who was nutriding sammy farha quotes.
There was another hand that i wasnt involved in, in which seat 6, super loose player, called a PF bet of 15$ from nit in seat 3, and they both saw a flop.
2 hearts and a club, all low cards. Nit boy checked, and husband guy fired the pot, nit boy instacalls.
turn is a Ah, and nit boy now fires out. Husband goes all in instantly. Nit boy stares at him, doing some failure chip roll and saying....you got aces?
the entire table about falls asleep as this point as he tries to table talk him in for some reason. anyway, he calls and flips the nut flush (wtf) and husband guy mucks his turned straight.

At one point i get AA in the CO and raise to 25 and get 2 callers (huk huk), ethiopian man accidently flashes a 2d (I Saw his other card, a 3d but i wudnt tell him lo lo l`ol `o `lo ) preflop and we see a flop. I hit a set , and check behind the first 2 who check. Turn is meangingless as i fire out 60 bux, nit man calls.
River is a K , and nit man front bets 40$ (..?) i stare at him for a sec, and said. "you got aces?" and raised him to 100.
He folded It would have been amazing if he had called.
Anyways, donkey phil ends up tripling up after getting AI on a J high flop vs 3 others, and his KJ holds for some reason. He leaves with +300 profit.
I end up bleeding the rest of the night trying to hit cards with stupidly good PF pot odds 10/1 8/1 etc etc , but after the AA and AQ hand im cold for the next 2 hours nothing really exciting happened to me this time, just hands to other people.
I cash out a small 70$ profit (had a 150 profit but i was chasing the big pot ;/) and head home.
