Quick summary of how ive been doing in cash games at nl25 since i've been back at uni, only played 20k hands in like 1.5 months whichis a bit shit but first few weeks back at uni pretty crazy life so not so much time.
Well work and travel have killed my poker playing. Plus Hitman: Blood Money hasn't helped either. God, that game is sweet. I'm eager to beat it so that I can focus fully on poker! It's hard to resist the urge to go out and assassinate some mob boss or child sex trader.
Got home from Costa Rica last night. Another business trip and many good meetings. No time for poker though, except one night of NL25 on my sexy new laptop in the hotel, which yielded another break even session. Been having a lot of those.
I came down with the most disgusting sinus infection while on the plane flying to Rica, which basically made the entire trip hell. It started with horrible pain in my right cheek, then this weird drip which smelled horrible. Not a runny nose, no mucus, just a weird drip every 10 - 15 minutes. That kept getting worse and so did the smell. I feel like I'm rotting from the inside and it's the only thing I can smell. And it's a bad smell that I can't outrun, I can't close the windows or lock the door, cause no matter what I do it's always there making me feel sick, and disgusting, ruining the taste of food and leaving me worried that everyone else can smell it too - which luckily they can't. For them.
Going to get antibiotics today and clear it up. I hope they work quickly - dunno if I can stand this smell much longer.
As for poker, things haven't been especially good. Had a downswing for about 3,000 hands and then hit a huge heater and won everything back plus more. Since that session I've broken even over and over again, or just had a baby profit. I think that I was just having weird luck for a bit, but my last session was definitely about to be at least a 2 buyin win but I screwed myself with some terrible calls.
So let's post some hands eh? I haven't even looked at PT hands for about 2 weeks so I have a LOT to post, but I'll spread the posting out over time and be more selective on what I do post.
2) Read is complete Loose/passive fish who rarely ever bets. His call on the turn made me think an 8, flush draw, str8 draw or a jack or ten. the river completed the FD so 2 of those hands were beating me... I figured him to not be the type to bluff, so I figured he'd check behind with a busted draw or jack/ten vs that scary board and only bet an 8 or flush. i wonder if I was right =) http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/298817

And yes I realize it's only like 4 buyins (well -5 at NL300 and up about 300 from NL200) but it was just one of those really shitty, disappointing sessions.
So it wen't pretty well, even though some fag hit his 2 outer vs me and other fag hit runner runner str8. I know it's not like hansenjr's 33 buyins but I'm still happy about it.
Had many more but forgot what I had and I can't find them now lolz. And I'm not gonna post any standard stackaments or beats etc. But overal I felt like I played really good. I know it's just 5 buyins but it seems a lot moneywise so I'm kinda excited etc. But not as much as byrnesam during his kinda gay night out from his last blog entry.

after rebuildin my br from 250 to 1600$ i ran pretty bad but played well in my opinion(analyzed everyhand where i lsot a stack)now iam at 1250$.i get sweet 50% rakeback so dont worries about the badrun at all.but sometimes i look at stars and think how fuckin gr8 this site is.

Decided to take a hu session today instead of normal grind.
I'm not too satisfied with the bb/100 (around 80 in 2k hands), though I think the winnings was decent.
Started off nicely, went up just over 3 buyins, then boom doomswitched,
FH under FH and every draw of mine missed, made a couple plays that got donk-called with their single pair when really i think they shud have folded and then before i know it im only up 1 buyin. Really annoying but thats poker.
I played well except a few spews but those were in very minor smaller pots i think i played all my big pots decent.
Shame about the absolute hell of an ending but nevermind~
I started 50NL yesturday after getting rolled up for it, and I've just been destroyed over my first ~3k hands so far for -8BI. Back down to 25NL it is! Here are the horrendous charts and graphs:
Regardless of what I get it is second best in big pots, whether I get coolered or sucked out in some way. Also, people at 50NL must be fucking geniuses to be able to put me on the only hand in my possible range that beats them whenever I try to bluff...I guess the "don't bluff rule" still applies (although I've only really tried 3 big bluffs since starting 25NL, so most of my losing is still from just running bad). Tilt has also played a part in my demise when I've made some pretty dumb calls knowing I was most likely sucked out on or something, but just so pissed that I couldn't fold and called out of spite.
Looks like my biggest problems (besides running horribly) have been trying to bluff with little or no info on a player too much and letting tilt affect my play. I'm going to go back down to 25NL and work on fixing those, then when I get back up I'll make another run at it.

I just got off the phone with phil who wanted to go to the casino where we have achieved somewhat-regular-but-we-still-aren't-degens STATUS. I hop into my ballin ride (05' Ford focus, candy red, it brings all the honies to the yard , because my milkshake is somewhat better than other alternatives) and drive off.
Anyway, so i'm goin off to pick up phil and take my usual route through a quiet hospital zone that has a 4 way stop. Picture that in your head. I have drawn a helpful diagram to help you out. actually no, fuck it, picture a godamn 4 way stop
I arrive at his crib and he hops his french ass into my car (yes he is french, and he as an account @ LP. BERATE HIM. FRENCH AGGRO DONK.)Anyway, he's telling me about his usual bad beat stories cause hes horrible and always gets his money in behind, and we're joking and laughing as we drive through the hospital zone again. We stop at the stop sign, proceed to a red light, and turn right after pausing momentarily. We proceed down the street towards our destination when a shitload of red, blue and white lights start wooping in my rear view mirror. I immediately turn to the other lane, and the cop car follows me to the other lane. I think to myself, WTF IM LETTING YOU PASS ME.
It then dawns on me that he is after me. I'm a felon.
After confirming that phil is not an illegal immigrant, we sit patiently as the cop emerges after having us pulled over. He is a husky white male, about 8 feet and 300 pounds, something akin to a dallas cowboy linebacker and who looked like he could bench press my entire car.
He opens his mouth to speak. A surly british accent erupts.
"Suh, Did 'choo know why ai pulled yeh over tonaight?"

In the last 9 days, I'm down like 2200 in cash games. I peaked this month at about +3500, I'm sitting at like +700 right now. Gonna spend the rest of the month crush 25 and 50NL. die fuckers die
BR just passed the $400 mark. Going out tonight and maybe playing a little sng with friends. Ill update again at the end of the month or if i make a big scoreee~
