Okay after my incredible party down i finally get some confidence back.

4 of the last 5 sessions on NL 10 were > 9 BB/100
and i feel like everybody around me hardly knows the rules of Poker

Only reason i dont crush it for 30 BB/ 100 on a regular base is i am spewing too much since start to take it too easy T_T

hard to stay 100% concentrated and focused when your opponents play like they just started poker yesterday after they watched some High stakes TV.

Its not too much fun to play vs those very very bad players but at least its giving you money.

I had around $300 at my FTP account and I just started to play some HU SNGs there tryin to make my roll there hitting around 1000 or so. I did good for start and won a couple of $20 SNGs and got up to 500 or so then I started doing $30 SNGs and all the donks there pretty much hit every fuckin possible hand. Just to mention some really major beats for more than 2k chips pots.

I lost over pair vs gut shot all-in on the flop.

I lost all-in pre 77 vs 77 when he made flush

I lost top set to floped flush all-in on flop when the guy called 3 bet prewith KTs

I lost QQ on a 98T board when the other guy called around 400 chips preflop with J7o

I lost top2pairs vs set all-in on flop OBV.

I lost KT to J9 all-in on flop K98

these are just a few sample beats that just stuck to my mind so I got down to $260 and I was like fuck-it and decided to take it to the next level and started 2x$100 HU and 1x$50 SNG so basically I had my whole roll on the line it was fun cause I managed to own all three players I was playin with and then for fun I did a $20 SNG and lost that one so I was like FUCK these donks and I did a $30PLO HU SNG and totally owned the donk there.

I don't know why but the dumber my opponents are the worse I play. cause simply the dumbest they are the lukiest they are and the more stupid things they do the more it puts me on tilt and I started to raise like the hands and do stupid shits like that.

BTW I think Nutshot is gonna go to jail soon for riggin the MTTs on Stars

I had a good session, but it would have been a monster if I hadn't made one stupid fucking move... well I guess I would have saved one buy-in instead of losing 2... So here's my 3 most interesting hands from this session. Pulled in another 4 buyins in 500-1000 hands.

That last hand was just idiotic and painful. My stats showed that he never folded so I was going to bet the pot at him for value, then that turn raise showed up. I should have realized what it was but I wasn't thinking. Was just pounding away and also thinking about how huge a win it would be if I caught him bluffing. ;alsdfjk

I got off immediately after that hand to avoid losing more to the tilt that was overwhelming me!

I swear to god it's tilting me so bad. I build up at 25NL to a 50NL BR, take a 5BI shot or something, lose it in like 700 hands, then repeat. How can I have such a high winrate at 25NL and just get killed constantly at 50NL??

At first I thought the problem was scared money and maybe too many tables....I fixed that. Then I thought it was because I was bluffing/tilting too much....fixed that for the most part. Today I thought it was because I'm calling down unknowns too light and being too transparent with my hand strength....I tried fixing that today and it was working pretty well. Yet once again, I had another horrible -4BI session and couldn't win a fucking hand until I looked over a bunch of hands in PT and re-evaluated my game.

I felt that I was playing really well for the last few hours and outplaying a lot of people while keeping the spewing to a minimum, and made up a few BI very quickly. Then I just hit a wall and my luck seemed to run out, as I got bad beat/sucked out/coolered every big pot I played, or at least it appeared that way.

I don't want to say I'm just running bad because I think there are some big leaks in my game that need fixing...I doubt you can say you are just running bad if you can't win at one level but if you drop down you can make all your losses back in one session, then move up and get killed again. I think I am going to invest in one of the less expensive coaches (that I can actually afford) to help me out and see what is wrong, because I think having someone sweat me to see just how I do things would help tremendously.

If anyone could suggest a good coach that would be great, or if you are interested in coaching yourself that'd be good too...I'll take any good help I can get right now as long as I can afford it.

Sorry for the long rant but I think there is a big problem somewhere that needs to be addressed...hopefully I really am just running bad.

Decided to report on the fights I saw as well as my picks.

Alan Belcher vs Kalib Starnes: Belcher came out looking really good, connecting with a whole lot of strikes (one that opened up an axe wound on kalib's head) and controlling the clinch. Kalib looked like he was starting to make a comeback with some aggressive boxing but the gash on his head was too big and the blood was pooling in his eyes so the ref stopped it in the second round. My pick: belcher by 2nd round KO/TKO.

Stephan Bonnar vs Eric Schafer: Considering both were supposed to be 205ers, Bonnar looked enormous compared to Schafer. It showed in the fight too, Bonnar controlled the action and outmuscled Schafer any time he tried to take it to the ground. Schafer did manage to take Bonnars back in the first round but bonnar kept his cool and defended well before rolling into Schafers guard. Schafer pulled guard in the second round and Bonnar responded by raining down a whole lot of gnp that eventually led to the stoppage. Sherdog article writers once again prove their idiocy by stating pulling guard is the grappling equivalent of taking your ugly sister to the prom. My pick: Bonnar by 1st round sub.

Alvin Robinson vs Jorge Gurgel: Jorge looked good...in the first round. He controlled the ground action and showed some very good control and passing, but he never did anything with it. 2nd and 3rd round were all Kid Robinson with some vicious gnp, Robinson would take a UD. Gurgel needs to stick with teaching, he just isn't a fighter. My pick: Gurgel by 1st round sub, wups.

Brandon Vera vs Tim Sylvia: I hate sylvia, that's all. I just hate him. I hate how he talks, I hate how he fights, I hate the lame shit he does before and after a fight. But he fought a smart fight here. For some reason Vera felt he should clinch up with a man 5 inches taller and 40 pounds heavier than him. It didn't work out, and somewhere along the way he broke his hand. He managed a nice little flurry of kicks at the end of round two but nothing outside of that. Tim Sylvia wins a painfully boring UD. My pick: Tim Sylvia by UD.

Rich Franklin vs Anderson Silva: At the end of the first round I went to my brother and said Silva scares the shit out of me. His striking is so much better than the 2nd best striker at UFC's 185 that it's not even fair to compare. Rich had a couple strikes land but Silva dominated the clinch as expected and landed at will with his quick stiff punches. He even added in the Rashad Dance in the middle of the fight. He would end up picking up the win after the 2nd time he knocked Rich down in the second round, the first time Rich was saved by the 1st round bell. My pick: Anderson Silva by 2nd round KO/TKO

Demian Maia vs Ryan Jensen: I'm happy I got to see my homer pick, and the fight went down about how I thought it would. Jensen isn't a slouch on the ground, but Maia is a pan am's champ, mundial champ, and adcc champ...there's just no chance here. Maia took Jensen down, passed at will, and when Jensen tried to stand up Maia took the opportunity to take Jensens back. A minute later, after Jensen tried desperately to defend the choke, Maia got the sub by RNC. My pick: Maia by 1st round sub.

All in all, I thought the event was great. It didn't have as many big names as the previous UFC but it did have some very good fights. Belcher looked athletic and strong. Bonnar is huge and well rounded, his size alone will cause problems for 205ers. Robinson has a very good all around ground game, he's a little weak off of his back but his top position is very strong. Sylvia continues to use his size to win him fights and his opponents continue to let him or play right into it. And of course, A. Silva is looking about as unbeatable as any fighter in the world right now. Even though he's shown he has great BJJ, it's gonna take a ground fighter to beat him. That could be Maia as while Silva's ground game is strong, Maia is one of the top 10 best grapplers in the world.

Most importantly, I dominated Fantasy mma. Ship the monies Fox Mig and Naz!

So anyway, yesterday I went to vote cause there were elections for the Polish government and fortunetaly the party I was voting for won. I spent like over and hour in a que though cause there were like 500 peoplez in front of me waiting to vote as well. Never seen that before during elections when I was in Poland lolz. After that I went with my Polish friends from Manchester for a dinner etc and then played some donkaments. I had an online tourney for poker society at my uni and got 2nd this time (won the first one). I lost all LP donkaments withing 15 mins from the beginning lolz. I lasted for quite a bit in Polish LP donkament but somehow A4 < AK. wtf?!

Today I went to my Spanish lesson and had one tutorial as well. Then I had a dinner with my dad and studied a bit in my room. Then watched new CTS's video on CR and it was really good. Then obviously I decided to play a bit..

And the session started pretty rought. Couldn't win a single pot for like 45 mins and had loads of setups and beats etc. I was about to stop to cut my loses but then I went like

I decided to do it in CTS style and play till unstuck. I was hoping it's not gonna take like 8k or 10k hands though, cause he had such sessions from what I remember lolz. Things started turning around slowly and I was about even when I stacked some random donk who started tilting and somehow everyone left the table and it was only me and him. I'm not comfortable playing nl400 HU (never actually played HU that high) but this was like winning on a lottery so I couldn't pass on it.

I stacked him like 3 times I think. Then he was playing with like less than 50bb so I said

and he insta reloaded obv lolz. So I stacked him one more time (ran good, my monsters held up and made some really good calls vs him too) and he left

Cause I'm about to post about how well I'm doing, so I'm probably going to screw myself over. Oh well, luck doesn't exist right? Just random fluctuation's in numbers over time or some shit like that...

So I had the downswing which sucked, then a monster session, and then I broke even over and over. I think I could have been recording winning sessions if I wasn't making so many stupid calls. The last few days my folds have improved and so have my calls... caught many a bluffer. That has lead to this graph:

Yup I'm up 1k in like 1k~ hands. Been doing real good since I started my session being quite aggressive and then hit very strong hands. My opponent made quite a few questionable calls but oh well. I'll be posting some of my stats later on when I'll have imported all those hands. Had so many bad beats in the few last days I felt pissed about everything, but I feel pretty good now so I guess it was worth it. Been a rough week, I've been surviving 1c2c but 2c5c has been treating me badly. Trying to work up to $200 again so I can give 2c5c another shot. I'd been about even until today. Then I had a rather good session. When I say rather good, I mean I'm up 15 buyins. All in all, I've had worse.

what's up. thanks for all the support through the banning. i'd like to thank naz/mods for not banning me for life cause it would feel like my mother disowning me as far as the poker aspect of my life is concerned.

I had a guy call his remaining stack (900 chips?) off with QJ to my A2 after I shoved over his pfr. It was weird.

a lil' background on me i'm an econ major and have played poker on and off since high school $5 buyin games (the loose ass ones with ridiculous .25/.50 blinds). pre-leg poker was pretty good to me and i made a bit of money but after cashouts, i'd shitty-BR the hell outta the remainders at high limits.

this trend continued post-leg as i'd make "i'm bored today i think i'm gonna play poker" deposits of like $200, grind some microstakes until i started running bad, and then shitty-BR everything on higher limits. i've decided to put a stop to this horrible bankroll management curse by implementing the following plan:

1) deposit $500 on ftp and grind 25nl for a FAIRLY long while
2) not move up ridiculously prematurely when i run bad. or good. or ever.
3) profit$$$

i hope that by making this blog, the self-affirmation of the posts or whatever the fuck will keep my shitty-BR ways in check.
