lately things havent been going my way esp with races and flips. can't really complain just variance maybe. moved to ub already and lost a huge chunk of br due to just simple bad plays such as not double barreling and cbeting ppl who just wont fold. roll is down to 2k now from almost 2500, i really thought i could make it to 3k before 2007 ends, now im just going back to 8 tabling at UB with very little success if any. oh well, dunno what waits for me next year. maybe ill just drop down for now and work on my game.
A good friend of mine told me his philosophy on poker, which breaks down to working hard for your blinds you will keep them, and if u just run HU luckfests, the money will leave u faster than you can imagine
Licking my wounds after the atomic tilt where i dropped 2.5k within 3 days. I swore to myself i'll NEVER EVER let this happen again, it was just horrible and i felt so so bad at the time... Now i started the grind and im back at nl25, hopefully i'll be at nl50 in 2 weeks and nl 100 by the end of january.
I just discovered a place near my work holds some donkaments, 40$ unlimited rebuys before the first break and 100$ on sunday with 3 rebuys. I went there just to test the water and i lol'ed at the players, these guys couldn't beat nl2 for sure, they don't have a clue about what this game is about so i wonder if i could make some cash from them, im not too bad at tourneys.
I don't want to drop money like crazy trying to beat this army of poker zombies, dunno if i should give it a shot or not...
Non poker related stuff, we discovered at work some girl who is working with us actually made a porn movie once. I insta-dled it and zomg she got talent, too bad im married i'd have snap-fucked the bitch at work fo sure. If anyone want to see here, the movie is named "Canadian Beaver 2" and she's staring some random whore in Montreal's metro under the name of Dakota (lol). The bitch has a really nice ass but she's a terrible actress she should keep sucking dicks if u ask me.
Wish you all a merry christmas and i know 2k8 is gonna be an excellent year for lpers, cya at the tables.
My sustained (well, 7k hands isn't sustained yet but it's looking that way) victory over 25nl is leading me to believe it is actually easier than 10nl. For me 10nl was an insurmountable wall, a challenge which I funded by dropping down to 2nl over and over to recover my bankroll. 10nl was my Everest. One short heater a few days ago allowed me to escape it, despite knowing that I could not yet win reliably on it, and attempt 25nl. And it was glorious.
At 10nl I am 1.6 bb/100 over about 70,000 hands.
At 25nl I am 10 bb/100 over 7,000 hands.
Depressing stuff, but I've escaped it now and I'm never going back. Should I ever have to drop down again it'll be to 2nl.
Just played a very bad session. I was totaly on yesterday. I was making huge calls, like 50bb with middle pair. Laying sets to striaghts ect. Today I played bad I just felt off the whole session.
3 hands that stay on my mind that I played terrible are below. I'm really mad I can't use pokertracker on Cake.
1. 99 flop came KK2, I bluffed a guy had K4o. I thought I was good because I raised preflop and he was donk as hell. I got suckered out of 25.00.
2. AQ floped an A. And I led the betting all the way to 5th street, losing 40.00 to AK.
I know why I lost these Just playing dumb but ...
The only hand I don't know how to play is QQ vs Unknown range. Example I'm playing 9 tables vs unknown player that has a 2 buy in stack.
He limped for .20. I made it 1.00 to go. He raise to 2.00. I raise all in for 22.00. The second he called I KNEW AA but to late. Should I have layed this? or just called and looked at flop for a set?
Spent some time playing catch up. Got paid off for sets. Ended session up 79.00 $, with 71 rake I'm at 750ish. It bothers me losing to stupid hands more then getting bad beats because I bad beat myself.
I played a view rebuy tournies and did quite well imo.
first was a 3$ and i cashed for 49 $ losing KK to AK preflop all in >_<
second was a 8$ and i buusted on the bubble after being card dead for 130 hands ( was so lol)
I dondt mean card dead in the sense of i didnt get premiums ... i didnt get playable hands at all ... then i get AQ and lose to KT preflop all in.
A9s and KJs were by far the best hands i got for 130 !!!! hands before i finally got AQ ... rest was 58o J4o and stuff.
finished 210th of like 1,4 K people top 180places paid
and another 3$ rebuy that i played kinda too agressive after rebuy period was over ...
the positive thing is i gathered like 12K chips in all 3 tounreys till the first break not using more than a maximum of 2 rebuys !
I think they are really kinda way more profitable than freezeouts.
basically after the break you have 12 K chips with 75/150 blinds and a good price structure.
I am gonna play them from time to time i think while of course cashgame will still be my main source of income.
Concerning the topic.
U guys know i am into MMA
But i have also a second love in martial arts which is my main background for MMA.
Karate
U guys may think now ... lol Karate sucks
well i have to enlighten u that there are so many different styles of Karate and some of them are really nice.
I want to show u the style of Karate i trained a lot in the past and that i still train from time to time.
This video is from the current international championsships of Budokai-Karate that took place in russia. ( I did not fight since was and am still injured on the ellbow joint >_< from an armbar accident )
But i guess some people will be surprised that there actually is some good Karate on the planet ^^
Alright, need to transfer $500 FTP -> PS. You provide PS, you get FTP money. Trusted users only, I will go first, may need to break it up into 2 transfers. Please help!
PM / reply in comments please. Thx.

UPDATE: nolan did it with me and was really cool about it.
So my goals now are conquering NL1k on iPoker and getting my bankroll up to 16 buyins of NL400 on pokerstars before the end of the year + getting platinum star too, need 2300 VPPs or so.
It's gonna be tough but i'm gonna focus on PS more.
I just did my first session of NL200 FR on ps and it went pretty well actually, I think its important to play loose postflop more than preflop, ps loves preflop wars but after the flop they shut down pretty badly.
Got a couple buyins up but then got coolered so still up 200$ or so. Gotta keep playing after I eat.
BIG PD : I just realized the vast mayority of old people here in Peru are life tilted, my first guess its frustration, Im striving not to be like that ever!.
BPD 2 : Except my uncle Juan tho hes super chill and cool, but hes a sailor so.

I gave a shot at NL10 yesterday and did very poorly. I'll do again later tonight.
im posting because im embarassed as fuck. this month i've played nearly 50k hands yet im not even up. most of it was NL10 but at the start it was NL25 aswell.
im starting to get really pissed off at losing on NL10 and i lost another 6 buyins today which has me really wanting to reconsider my game and so on. i think i was just running fine and so became lazy and stacked off with any overpair, etc.
so i am asking... no begging... no.. pleading that some of you who have annihilated NL10 before have a look at some of my hands and tell me your thoughts!
OK. Hands. for hands, i was thinking about picking out some good ones. but then i thought fuck it, i'll just post the top 10 losing hands with greatest net $ lost. but then i realised most of them are coolers or suckouts so here are the ones that i have myself to blame for (top 10).

Any comments on these hands i will treasure, thanks. just need to get my confidence back and try to see if im doing anything stupid and not realising it. also should stop selling my friend Pstars money for real cash, kind of hindering me and my mission to stay at 25nl
Chickens are by far the least appreciated animal on this planet earth. So often do we take chickens for granted, as we view them purely as a source of food. However, seeing as how chickens are such a ubiquitous creature, I feel it necessary that we all take a bit of time today to just appreciate everything about chickens.
Chickens can serve as excellent companions, as they are extremely low maintenance and have very soft feathers. Yet, surprisingly, most cities have ordinances against owning chickens as pets! This is BLASPHEMY. How can something which can provide such an endless stream of love, comfort, and companionship be BANNED?
So next time you feel the urge to think of chickens just as food, remember that you are forgetting the eternal grace and friendship that is the chicken.
On a side note, I made 8k playing 2/4 and 3/6 hu this morning. 1 tabling is the besssstt
I wrote this a couple weeks ago and kinda felt like posting it somewhere else so here it is.
2008 is a big year for America, perhaps one of the biggest years of the coming century. Yet, I feel pessimistic about our future as a country, and our ability to co-exist with our neighboring countries peacefully. I feel pessimistic about the value of our dollar, also about the interference of the government in personal matters. Directly and indirectly affected by the above I have been inspired to write about it. I think I have realized that as of right now I still have the freedom of speech, I still have the ability to type this letter freely and to write words to express my truest thoughts. For in the future who knows what kind of freedoms we may be left with, as it is my opinion that we as the general public have given up to many civil liberties in the past years. I would like to give reference to just one example from above to try and illustrate a point. I challenge you the reader as an independent thinker and a contributing member to society to read as much as you can about the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. The following is just a representation of my understanding on the subject. The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was passed at midnight the day congress was adjourned for the 2006 elections. It was tacked onto the SAFE Port Act and contained little to no traces of the Act itself. What this Act exactly did compromised my civil liberties as an American and treads on personal freedoms across the nation. This Act made it illegal for a financial institution to transfer funds to an Internet gambling website WITH THE EXCEPTION of Fantasy Sports, Online Lotteries, and horse racing. This directly affected me by denying me to deposit money from my bank into an internet pastime of recreational gambling in poker. Many Americans will have mixed perceptions on poker in general, but one perception that any American should not have, is whether the government is allowed to tell us what we can and cannot do with our own money in the privacy of our homes. The Constitution laid the groundwork for this provision and it has been swept out from underneath our feet at the stroke of midnight as if it was no big deal. The point of this article however is not to address the issue of online gambling, it is to address the issue of our Constitutional freedoms and civil liberties being given up. As I said before, this is just one case that directly affects me. My question to you is how many freedoms and liberties are you willing to give up?
As I ponder writing this next paragraph of my personal opinion I feel that somehow this will no longer be published. That someway I will lose credibility. Perhaps this is exactly what will happen, but as long as one person reads and acts upon this I feel I have accomplished something. I urge you as an American who does not want to see your freedoms and liberties to go to waste act now! There is one candidate who is advocating a smaller national government, vowing to lower taxes and even do away with income tax, and more importantly trying to protect the rights our forefathers set forth for every American. Ron Paul is a very strong Republican candidate, yet somehow he is overlooked in the mass public media such as television and newspapers. I hope somehow this was made available to you by the two, I hope that you take the time to just do a bit of research about Ron Paul and his beliefs, I hope that after reading this article, no matter the differences in our beliefs that you remember America was founded on personal freedoms and no man should have the right to take those away.
Thats the end of it, let me just wrap all that up by saying I am unsure how much longer America can continue in this downward spiral. I know a lot of you guys are European/Asian so it will be interesting to see your view on some of these points. Anyhow, yesterday was a big day for me, I got to play a pretty big amount of hands (relatively speaking). 700 hands and I ran pretty hot throughout them and made 4 buy ins so I am pretty stoked. My bankroll has finally eclipsed the 10k mark which feels huge at the moment. As soon as I make ~1300 more and feel like taking a shot I will be sitting at 400nl so wish me luck. On a side note, Jamie if you read this post can you shoot me a PM, IDK how to do so and I had a question for you. Yesterday below, enjoy guys! :-D
I decided I can't really make 12 articles, without writing about stuff I don't want to write about or making them quite mediocre. But I will write at least 2 more I think. I want to get the next one done until 1st, but I'm not sure I will.
My next article will be about mistakes. Not about specific mistakes, but on the proper mindset about them.
