I said I quit steps like a week ago but started again today. Man are those things addicting as hell.
Steps on stars are also the gayest thing alive. All it does is keep sending you back down making more rake for them.
Beat: made it to step 6 ($2100 final table for wsop seat) get knocked out first 5 mins. Get top vs table donkey and he turns gutshot GG fucker. Very funny one jokerstars thank you.
Variance? : Two people signed up for my table and they were afk whole game, yet made even money while I get sent down a level lol... another funny one stars
Lots of u have allready seen the hand i am talking about.
I played a session 3 tabling and i did really well.
Playing very good doing the right things in the right spots and running okay untill the following hand appeared :
I was up 35€ ( 54$) at around hand 600 being very satisfied with how things went.
I offchecked the auto-blind post feature to play my last few hands before i get out with friends and drink some.
Then something happend in my mind which allready occured in the past but i thought i had successfully fixed that severe leak of mine.
here is an old blog entry about exactly the same situation.
-> http://www.liquidpoker.net/blog/viewblog.php?id=336746
i couldnt have played it worse T_T
Still ended the session up + 41 euro ( 64$)
overall i am up ~ 260€ now for march
I think deep down in my heart i am a serious degen ...
And i need a lot of concentration to supress this.
I sometimes have an inner voice that tells me to do stupid things ...
I dont only have this in poker but in life in general.
I dont think i am ill
I think it just occured from years of boredom of a normal life in before i got 16 years old.
I like to do exciting shit just for the thrill of it even though i know its dangerous or wrong >-<
And to be honest though i am aware of that i dont even dislike it My life has become a lot cooler and more fun since i started to be like that.
f.e
Id never started with MMA ( which i now love more than anything else) if i wasnt like this in the first place.
I mean beating each other up with small gloves and almost no rules ^^ This sounded totally stupid to me in the beginning
At that time i was like : yeha this is brutal and stupid and i will probably get hurt and stuff -> lets check this out
(ofc now i know its totally different from that and so much skill and technique involved)
Its just that this thing is exactly the worst characteristic u can have in poker.
So i must supress it while pokering
the fact that i managed to play 31k hands during midterm weeks (4 midterms, all major classes lol) is pretty good i assume.
i give up on playin video games as it seems. spent a few days on oblivion and need for speed pro street on my new pc. the graphics were good, not the super good type shown on on box arts or wallpapers =(. just search for some of the need for speed pro street screenshots on google, i have everything on highest with 4x AA on 1650x1050 and its not as good as the screenshots other ppl posted. oblivion is diff story as its released few years ago.
stopped playing and decide to make a blog post since i just got downed 2k$ from noon. i flipped a coin to see if i should study for my last midterm tommorow or keep playin, but the coin results showed that i need to study =(.
-------------------
can't wait till next week. i actually made a schedule for my poker hours and stuff so i could stop procrastinating. need to put my hours in, gettin over $30+/hr on rakeback. fuck profits ^_^
need supernova elite. not even 100k vpp yet, shows how much i been slacking off.
Finished 14th at the $5,000 Main Event @ Caesar's Palace: Atlantic City. I ended day 1 with 232k in chips after being short around 8500 @ 300/600 75 ante. I began day 2 by knocking out about 5 people in
30 minutes, including my buddy from the WSOP Main Event Final table: Lee Childs, unfortunately through a bad beat A9o > his AJo in a 3 way all in where him and the other fellow were very very short. A few hours later I tango'ed a bit
with some people and dropped back down to 200k after being up to almost 400,000 very quickly. Once the bubble kicked in, I went from 240k all the way up to 440k without showdown @ 3k/6k 500 ante. From the money bubble breaking to
down to 2 tables I couldn't pick up any hands to stack up huge and stayed afloat with about 300k--> 450k for 6 more hours, until finally when we were down to 14, I shoved AQ to Eric Haber's (Sheets on PokerStars) 88 after he delibatered
preflop for 2 minutes before making his call. I got knocked out in 14th finishing for 13,400$ after satelliting in for 500$. All in all, I was so proud of how I played the entire two days, and it left me with a strong clench in my
hands knowing that something has changed, and I have risen to a new level of poker strength. I'm ready to take on the Foxwoods Poker Classic and Bellagio Five Star immediately after. If anyone is planning on showing up to either
events, come and let's kick some tournament ass. Later.
So, after 2 weeks of recovey (psychic crisis with MDMA => no more drugs) and not playing poker at all I came back to poker
But something fishy is going on here and I dont know what the hell it is
I played 2 days at PS at 25/16/2, but today PP was like 29/20/2.6 (NL200 SH)
It is the game flow that makes me play so weak tight at PS? or the soft maybe?
Or maybe too much time of not playing ruined my game and now Im getting it again. As standard, break even streetch continues (3months now). But I hope it ends soon
Man it's rare to see this many outs on the flop, but for me it's common to get em all in and not hit any by the river, hehe. Oh well, good read on his hand, bad read on getting him to fold it. Put him on an overpair and figured even if he calls I'm happy. Checked the calculator and I was 58 to 38, so yeah, not bad at all. I thought I was sitting on 18 outs but he had a spade so that meant 17, which is still a hell of a lot.
Anyway, just wanted to share this hand but didn't know where so in the blog it goes!

Alcohol helps loosen my game play up, especially in live play. Must players cant read my abnormal playing style,i find this extremely help full at underground poker clubs. I like to take a shot of Whiskey right before i step in, literally. Letting the table(s) smell the liquor off the my breath helps with my image. They never knew what hit em
After getting raped in a 50 NL sesh this afternoon for 4 BIs I didn't feel like putting in another grind. Decided to fire up 2 tables of 50 NL HU. Was dominating some shortstack retards until gawdawaful sat down. We played two tables of HU just mindfucking with each other. He 3bet like every single hand and we had some ridiculous hands. Ended up playing 474 hands and he finished up $21 on me. He had like a $450 stack on one table and I had like a $375 stack on the other. Was definetly fun though. <3 LP craziness.
I'm doing pretty damn well at 50 NL FR and really feel like I'm starting to "get" it. My BR is bigger than it's ever been mostly because I'm actually using BR management. I realized today that the only person I talk to about poker is nutshot so if anyone wants to discuss hands or life or whatever my AIM is BJLTNYK21.
Degenerate flipping. why would they even call it a "flip" if when I get in no matter what I'm 70% to lose?
Included one $1000 flip where I lost T hi vs 9 hi
last stretch was all $400 flips where I consistently lost putting it in at the very least 70/30 or better.
gonna go drive my new car around (pics soon) and watch OSL finals (flash vs stork) gnite folks
Was playing 100% on prima until March so I wasn't sure how my success there would translate back to pokerstars. It seems to be going well. But I still want my prima money.
Since this was my first blog post I should also give credit to goofyballer, nolan, and tomson with whom I have also taken lessons from in the past. I'm fortunate enough to say I had very positive experiences with wach and would recommend to any. I still owe most of my recent success to C of course.
