to all of the montreal lpers and ex bw playersby TT1, June 28
do any of you guys play regularly at casinos or poker rooms around montreal? ive been frequently going to a poker room in kanawake since like 1 month now and its pretty much free money, where are some of the other good places to play at?
and where can you find info on offline tournaments? any big tournaments coming up soon?
So pinbaLL was at my place for the week, and we grinded together. I played a bunch of donkaments and he grinded cg. pinbaLL is a really fun and cool guy, and it's always nice to meet someone that you talk to over the internet.
We bought starcraft too, and I stopped playing 2001-2002 so I was "sort of" rusty. Now that I have starcraft I might log some games, the opponents are alot tougher nowadays, but its probably because I suck atm.
I've been running insanely bad in donkaments, pinbaLL saw how I was running and it's not fun. I consider myself to be a fairly decent donkament player, I asked pinbaLL alot of questions what he would do in certain spots to compare, and its nice getting a second opinion. So thanks pinbaLL, and I am also playing mtts on pinbaLLs stake, so let me run good once please.
Here are some of the hands I've busted with, whilst being fairly deep:

Overall, I'm grinding back some of my lost money on NL10, since I got coolered time and time again on NL25 and lost 8bi. It's going good, I've won 5 and a half bi today (2bi back from NL25, oh yeah)
We've played some Diablo 2 with my best friend yesterday and today, and when we finished it on normal, just started to read some internetz we've realized Diablo 3 was announced. Gief immediately! I'll definetly lose my life if that game comes out.
WoW sucks nowadays, my guild stopped our progress because there are a lot of slacktards among the members. So, next week I'm gonna leave my server and going to migrate to another realm which is crowded by fellow Hungarians. I've got accepted to a BT/MH guild already, woot.
Okay, so I guess I spent a fair amount on WSOP buy-ins and whatnot and I don't feel like shelling out 10k on one tournament buy in so I'm offering my body for money. I haven't done any type of staking deal before bc I think it's kind of embarrassing but I think I'd be profitable in the main event and feel like I can make potential buyers and myself a lot of money.
Okay, down to business. I'm selling myself in such a way that the more you buy, the better your value, so the numbers are as follows:
1-5% pay double ($200-$1,000)
6-10% pay 1.5x ($1,100-$1,500)
11-15% $1,600-2,000
16-20% $2,100-2,500
21-25% $2,600-3,000
26-30% $3,100-3,500
31-35% $3,600-4,000
and so on up to 50% for $5,500.
If anyone is interested in any % PM me or MSN me at thewh00sel@hotmail.com
sacrificed another profitable friday night to my hedonistic side. went out for drinks in Kriterion (movie theather/bar) where there were festivities around the smoking ban in clubs and bars starting on july the 1st. there were girls going around with free smokes, many people were dressed up and there was a LOT of smoking. i can't believe the vile odor on the clothes i was wearing last night.
There was also supposed to be poker but it turned out to be blackjack. It was blackjack for cigs. 1 point, 1 coffin nail. I run good so i lost a pack. Pretty sure the dealer was misplaying the game though. He splitted even when he hit blackjack :S, didn't bother me though
it was a lot of fun gambling for nothing with a non typical gambling crowd and still being excited because everyone is afraid to run out of smokes and that's annoying.
well.. that's it for smoking in Holland. We'll see how that turns out. Good luck everyone.
Most tilt inducing sh*t about pokerby JohnnyBologna, June 28
Today I just found out what tilts me the most in poker, taking myself to value town. The players are SO HORRIBLE that I end up betting their hands for them. Nothing like the feeling of betting your hand like the nuts only get shown better and think how the hell does he not bet that? I bet the fish who do this probably think they are all pro that they trapped me and stuff when in fact they miss so much value. Some examples

So I haven't updated the month bet in a while...basically because I'm going to lose. And I'm not going to lose because the bet is impossible...I'm going to lose because of the 27 days this month I'd estimate I've only played 17. I had a few MTT only days, had some days where I was pissed after losing in AC, and some days where I just didn't feel like playing. 100 NL FR is fucking cake and had I actually played all 27 I'd be way done by now. I'm not upset though because I feel like my game has progressed a ton this month putting in a little bit of volume. I bought a $650 VIP bonus tonight that's almost cleared...I'll be paying nutshot and jlost with rake essentially so that's fine. Should be up at 200NL next month.
So June is coming to an end and it looks like I might have another breakeven or losing month, not there yet but we'll see.
Also need to lose less pots without showdown which is hard when you're constantly getting shit on by everyone and not picking up hands at the correct times.
Played 2 sessions today one in the afternoon and one at night, lost 3 buyins in the afternoon and 2 at night.
I duno wtf happened here, I had a feeling I was beat but he instaminraise and snapshoved the river. I couldn't figure out wtf he had so I pushed the call button. + Show Spoiler +

Anyways feel free to comment on any of these hands especially the AQ one vs 42 -.-
Whoa, Im swinging like a madman today. Started out up 4k, then I played pinball HU on two tables of 5/10(probably a bad idea huh?) Neways it was fun but I got outplayed a couple of times and just owned other so I ended up like down uhm, probably 7k so -3k for the day. I think he ran a little hotter than me though, atleast I hope he did otherwise he owns my soul.
After the dumb idea to play pinball I decided to gameselect on 5/10 from now on and I found a huge tiltmonkey who donated about 8k and I won 2k more on some random 3/6 and 5/10 tables. I have some really fun hands to show and some sick graphs also but I dont have pokertracker and ipokers hand historys can suck my dick.
Hopefully I can get my laptop going tomorrow to post some stats and hands.
Neways, after swongtime in the hood Im booking a 7k day which is sweet, I think Im up around 18k for June which obv is supersweet. Im loving life.
Oh, and I still havent gotten around to posting the norway pics but I will in my next entry. I promise.
well i cashed out all my roll to make sum ballin and only deposited 150$ at stars to grind it back from nl5 just for fun and really see if im able to beat microstakes again.
btw the big hole at 56k hands are fr shots..im gonna keep myself far from it tho.
anyway cashed out all my roll from stars and now im gonna play nl100 @ipoker
just started today at propaganda poker and well..after playing stars, tables seem so much softer hope everything get even better.
