do any of you guys play regularly at casinos or poker rooms around montreal? ive been frequently going to a poker room in kanawake since like 1 month now and its pretty much free money, where are some of the other good places to play at?

and where can you find info on offline tournaments? any big tournaments coming up soon?

I've been wanting to play live poker somewhere for ages but didn't know where to go since they don't have NLHE at the Montreal Casino. Where is this Kanawake place you speak of?

I don't. I'll go try the casino soon but will never be a regular there. And I know my friends liked to play at the indian poker room but they don't anymore they say it sucks so I never bothered.

fuck I should just sell some of my Pokemon cards, if no one stakes that is what I will have to do - lostaccount

i live in the west island and it takes me like 15-20 min drive to get there, when you reach there you just go to the cashier, give your name + buy chips and sit at any table you want and start playing

they host all sorts of tournaments, their cash games are a joke they have like 6 tables, 4 of them are usually 1-2 blinds 9-10 max if its a busy day and 2 2-5 blind tables, the 1-2 tables are filled with maniacs who 1bet 12$ preflop and get 5-6 callers behind them, the best time to play here is like at 1am when alot of the players are drunk and sleepy so you just go and steal their money but its pretty much impossible to have a read on anyone because they have no clue wat their doing themselves you just have to be patient and pick your spots but the 2-5 tables are pretty solid, theyre mostly online middstake and a few highstakes reg players

right now their in the process of making an extra room for high stakes only

edit : and they have a bad beat jackpot , if aces full of jacks or higher loses all the table gets a piece of the money (like 1/2 for the receiver of the beat, 1/4 for the giver and the rest of the money split equally with the rest of the players)
