Ok, briefly i will introduce myself~!
My name is Harry, I'm from Edinburgh - Scotland, age 21 and ive been playing poker on and off for a couple of years or so. I currently playing 100nl 6max.

Some of you may remember me from last year when i took part in the tournament challenge, I was on the winning team (team myth) and came #2 MVP.

I sort of disappeared from poker for a while after that so i could concentrate more on University, although i ended u playing lots of guitar and guitar hero/rockband and some World of warcraft, heh.

I return now playing 100nl 6max cashaments as i have now passed my exams (Hooray!), although i do go back in sept.

I quite enjoyed the challenge last year of playing mass tournaments to gain points, so i have decided to challenge myself to play alot of cash game hands this month - i'll start a new post about this soon.

July did start badly for me: i excluded myself for 30 days from playing since june 17th, and BOOM there is the 2x VPP promo, which would be very valuable for me because I try to become a supernova.

I did exclude myself from playing because I wanted to concentrate on studying which didn't work out that well, I feel like I wasted a lot of time doing nonsense, in which i could have played poker, however, nothing I could do about.

There are exams at the moment, I will pass which is good, but not with great grades, but who cares?

So I didn't play a lot in July, only 8.5k hands, I only qualified for goldstar this month, but my last exam is at 11th of August and after that there will be some hardcore grind.

I did make a deposit, which qualified me for the $240 deposit bonus, when somebody offers me free money, I take it, it's still pending.

A side note: I got rid of PokerOffice, because it put me on eternal life tilt with lagging and lack of functions, so I got PokerTracker3 and I love it, it is very stable and fast.

I made a new Database with my old hands to get lots of statistics, but feels like there are some hands missing, probably all the nl25 and nl50 crazy 24-tabling sessions from March / April, because i definitely made more than 10k this semester, well there were some deposit bonuses and cash bonuses, but still did i win more at the tables, however, 100k+ hand graph:

no clue how i even got close to 100k hands put in

2x vpp week i think i taken the most of the week off to chill with my microstakes ballin buddies.... then i was on a huge 55k hand breakeven and have like close to no motivation to play. just like 24 table autogrind.

i tried many pc games and watched a ton of movies during this month.

devil may cry 4 is very fun
total war 2's learning curve imo is huge and i dont have patience for such a long game.
far cry is pretty good
heroes of might and magic 5 is addictive as hell

pretty much watched some older movies that everyone prolly seen before that are very famous.

i was thinking about playin WoW but damn i really wanna play it but i know its gonna be the biggest waste of time ever. i played when it first came out and it consumed my life, dont know if i wanna do it again. i pm'd mumtaz and his price is $250 which i dunno if its decent of not since i dont even have the game myself. add $25 for server xfer... lol

Probably my best month and didnt play a ton. I should be playing a fair amount in August before I go back to school even though Im taking an investing course for a chunk of time.
Been playing a lot more 5/10 and it s a really fun game to play even though the swings are kinda annoying. Also had like 4/5k in tourney winnings and a couple thousand missin from my laptop. So like 25-27kish overall

Hopefully I can get 40k hands in August and beat this month.

So yeah the last two weeks pretty much blew (No LP 4 Me ) I was banned and had plenty of time to reflect on what a douchebag I was being. I don't really want this post to come off as lame, but oh well.

First thing, sorry Baal for always starting shit with you (again!) and putting you in the spot where you have to ban me. After lurking these last two weeks I understand why Baal is a mod. He is dedicated to keeping a well run forum and although is opinions are somewhat controversial, that doesn't mean he isn't entitled to them. He also does a good job at keeping the lowlifes away (see the "ROFL" thread and the whole Ronk vs. Pigeon Lovers).

Secondly, I saw that I wasn't exactly well liked by LP in my own right (for obv. reasons brought on by myself). I am hardly even known (and have been here for like 2 years). That is solely because I don't bring much to the forums.

So I guess I'm saying that I'd like a new start if that's possible. If I act like a tool in the future then please don't hesitate to point it out to me. I want to be able to bring some positivity to the forum like so many well respected members have brought to my game making me a better player. I could easily start a new screen name and leave my past trolling behind or go to a new forum, but LP is the best forum by miles. Plus I feel pretty bad for being a jerk to Baal and Loco (and even SKoT and Svenman87 in the past).

Most people don't really change and it might be hard to do it without some bumps in the road, but I want to at least try! That is why I am posting all this so it's on the record and I can come back for future reference. Take care guys and thanks for a great poker forum!

I finished my last sng at like 12:30am, which is way past my bed time since I have to wake up at 5:30am for internship (live in seoul, commute to suwon). I ended at $199.66 and of course I can't leave my br at that so I tried to be silly and play nl5 until I broke 200. I thought I could make 34 cents there since I dish out some serious punishment at $3 sngs, but I ended at $193 LOL silly...I was chasing every draw and bluffing every street (I was in a hurry because it was already like 12:40). The guy next to me even said "cool free chips" at me, which I dunno, kinda hurt. bye.

July was pretty good Especially with my Sunday Million win lol. I'm most likely going to invest almost all the money. Sorry 5/10+ regs! I really want a new car because I hate my current one, a 2003 Ford Taurus, but my first year in college I have to live on campus, so there really is no need for one yet.

I didn't forget to blog about when I went to Vegas (for only 2 days haha). I wrote up a really long report about it and then my internet died right after I finished so I lost all of it I've also got a few pictures that I took of the house/cars/ect on my phone but I'm not sure how to upload them to facebook or w/e else so if someone can help me out that, then I'll put them up here. Basically cliff notes of vegas:

- i lived in a tight house with mez, doomer, milkman, bigbob, peachy, yomer, and nolan (and they were all obv sick heroes. it was really funny how everyone was sorta how i expected them to be)

- went to a awesome strip club with peachy and yomer and had a ton of fun lol

- only stayed 2 days than the planned week b/c my parents are really really gay

- bob is a pyro

I feel like after how good I've been running as of late that I'm going to go on an epic downswing for the rest of my life but hopefully not. Next month I won't be able to play a lot because I'm going to be on vacation for a week but when I do play, I'll probably start to mix in some 3/6 with my 2/4 tables.

That could be used to describe July. So this month I hit all of my goals

[x] Get to 100NL from a $1000 roll
[x] Make Platinum star
[x] Play a shitload more hands

I made it to platinumstar 37 minutes before the 2x VIP status tourney starts, and I know shit about MTTs. So basically its gonna be a freerolling waste of time.

I've been at 100NL for about 3 days and my impression is that the games are beatable, people are readable, and emotional control is more important than ever.

I started running hot but the last two days I've dropped almost 1K. This was my third attempt at 100NL and as much as I hate to, I'll have to regrind my losses at 50NL. Seriously losing that much money in 2 days just...would make anybody's stomach turn. As of this writing I feel like total SHIT. I mean the kind of shit that breaks the emotional threshhold and my mind can't even comprehend the pain. Like I'll never be up ever again when just a few days ago I was on cloud 9...well here are the graphs.

Since yesterday I'm restricting myself to 4 tables for the whole of august (I usually play 6-8). I feel like I've got longer to make decisions but I really don't know if I need that extra time. I havn't played many hands 4-tabling yet, but I find it so hard not to fire up more tables when I keep losing flips.

I could feel myself tilting after the following hands happened within about 30 minutes so I've stopped. I'm pretty sure that's just turned July into a losing month (not counting tourney winnings)! Waheyyyy

Why do i consistently run like shit at NL25 yet absolutely rape NL10 every time i go back to it. Fucking pisses me off
