this is getting absolutely fucking ridiculous. I'm getting told to kill myself. are you serious?? Most of you completely immature. This is a poker website turned hate forum. I'm entitled to my own opinion but not only is it not respected, but i am berated and told to kill myself by the fucking moderators...

To those of you who helped me in a mature way, i thank you for your patronage. I appreciate your help.

Devon, fuck you. I aboslutely despise you. You're an ignorant idiot who makes his life better by demoralizing other people. Congrats, go to hell.

Rally mayhem
  Baalim, Oct 21 2008

Well this rally was 2 months ago, sadly i couldnt race since my car wasnt out of the repair shop (again :<), problems with the fucking gearbox and suspension so i went there to watch it, and get WASTED!!, nothing like driving twisty mountains roads drunk

Anyway... well it turns out there this mythical turn, (i dunnot, seems like a std turn to me) that always takes casualties, well in 2005 3 cars crashed in the same corner, and considering its over 100km (60miles) of race, its really weird that they went in the same corner, but here are the pics of 2005:

So, this 2008 the same event, which is my city event, took place and something very similar but more hilarious happened:

Police cars transit the stage while closing it, like 30 mins before the 1st race car passes, obv some cops get hot-headed and think they are rally drivers, and this cop wasnt the exeption, well he understeered into the grass:

Close call, but no damage done, it just got stuck in the grass, so this is Stage 1 a few Kms from the start line, and a Red 206 Peugeot shows the cop how a true racer crashes:

But its not all done, the mythical turn wanted more blood so another brave driver sacrificed himself to please it, not before he took a little revenge of many years of police abuse, such a hero!

Video of the guy taking revenge in the name of all Mexicans abused by the pigs

Day 1 in the penny tables
  makito, Oct 21 2008

so I started day one of my experiment and wow I started playing way too lose for nl2 and trying to make moves lolz and I lost like 7 BI. then I tighten up and started playing like a nit and seen some progress.

NL2 in UB is full of bots that buy in for 10 cents and shove every pair and over cards lols I need to start calling less of those shoves I am losing money there, just call with premium hands.

anyways I dled a free trial of holdem manager, pretty sweet program I might buy it just for the hell of it

here is my stats and graph

I have no idea what any of this means tho anyone care to explain and give some tips ? thanks!

Cake Sat to 10K
  eightfourO, Oct 20 2008

This weekend i played in my first tournament on Cake Poker, a $2+.20 sat to a $10K guaranteed tournament. There were 13 seats to the 10k, and i think there was something like 87 people + like 200 rebuys or something ridiculous like that, and i was in 2nd place when the tournament ended. (not going to lie, i wanted 14th place b/c it paid like 20 bucks). So i get the seat, and i played 11 hands, got 48th and won $44.

Nice ship. Turned 2.20 into 44... Thats a 2000% profit =)

1st place got 2.1K, and i seriously think i had a shot at 2.1K. That was the softest tournament i have ever played in my entire life. So soft. i won 5 out of 7 at showdown, (lost to someone who was all-in and only had like 1K chips and i had like 20K, and obv the hand i went out on, 88 vs KQ).

Anyway, i think i am going to grind sat's to the 10k tournament from now on, maybe in a month buy a porsche

***Edit***
Oh yeah, also lost a hand 55 vs JJ when i was chipleader, i had about 32K and the other guy had like 20K...bad call shouldn't have done it, but i learned my lesson. Gotta pick better spots.

***EDIT***
Much thanks to my live sweat partner Moffa, if it wasn't for him, i wouldn't be that good. I'd sweat him bettter, but the only hands he gets are 62 and 64.

Whow da hell am I?
  Liofle, Oct 20 2008

Well, as you can see, i have very few posts here so you don't know me. Let me introduce myself to you - I am 19 y.o. from Bulgaria. My name is Nikola and this is the first blog i make so it is kinda new experience to me and hope there are people that read this . I started playing poker just a year ago and have never looked back . For the past several months I have played only SnGs and MTTs and have abandoned the cash games cause of various reasons. I prefer cash live, so if i decide to play cash it wouldn't be online... So... i have specialised exclusively on sit`and`go`s and have moved from 3+30EU in Boss Media to 20+2 (have played stg like 6-7 sngs already and getting unlucky, but steal about breaking even) , but I mainly play 10+1 cause there r just not enough people playing on the 20+2. That sux big! Yesterday night there were 11K people on Boss Media which is the biggest nmbr of ppl i have seen online there at once. And still, I waited for it to begin for more than an hour and a half :O.
For now, i am crushing the 10+1 sngs, really just killing the fish! I`ve read some articles on sng stats and the ROI stuff and they all say that generally a 15% ROI is great. To me, playing 9 10+1sngs and being up 10euros is as great as getting fuc*ed in the ass! And i am no gay! I just can't see how this % ROI can be considered great, probably they meant the much higher buy-in SnGs. Ppl on 10+1 and 20+2EU sngs are soo weak. Callin allin with A-high or a gutshot+a backdoor flush draw is something I see every day. Many ppl just don't know what beats what (not literally but still stg close to that). I've seen ppl calling allin with T-high, no draws on, the flop. However, there are players that kinda know how to preserve their chips at the beginning and I wait for the big later-stages-mistakes when i think i am very good at. I don't use tracking programs like PokerOffice/tracker or Holdem Manager cause i think they r not supported by Boss Media and i am kinda lazy and feel good on my own. I am currently typing this blog from my work. I work in an insurance company and it's been 2 weeks since i started. The job is pretty boring and the salary sux. Ahhh, the boss just entered the office, signing off . see ya

Poker experiment
  makito, Oct 20 2008

Well I am back, after a while and I decided to try an experiment. I had always played poekr for fun only and mostly MTTs ..I would deposit 50 every once ina while and play some mtts, the most i ever di was get 3 on a 10 rebuy for 525... I hadnt played in a while and now Im back and I want to do an experiment

edit: sweet i found a page that keeps track of UB tournaments

here is my link
http://www.bluffmagazine.com/thepoker...ltimateBet/3099942/player-profile.asp

I deposited 50 today in UB and I plan to play cash games with real br management. Im gonna play nl2 there until I hit $150 and move and take shots at nl10 Im gonna do a 15bi rule. if I drop down from 150 ill move back to nl2.

The plan is play until a I reach $1000 and cash out. I can only play max $1-3 dollar MTTS for now.

I also plan on start posting on the low stake forum more often and post more HH for review

I played around 600 hands today 4 tabling and Im down 1 buy in. I got to say the players are fucking horrible but the beats are sick. All done in 6max games.

Lets see if I can follow this rules and not degen my br on one MTT or nl50.
I also want to see what would be my br in december 27 if I follow all this rules.

[hand=life update]
  CrownRoyal, Oct 18 2008

So the new job is pretty stellar compared to my previous endeavors in the ways of being a working class hero. The project I got into was a pilot and the company got the project because of mine and a few other guys work and I will be the guy that makes all of the new McCafes at Mcdonalds work.

Basically I go into the stores and depending on whether it's a de-install or a re-install I basically do the networking for the store and set up the new registers and stuff. I make $150 per store I do and right now im only doing 2 stores a night but here pretty soon we will start doing 3 a night. Since I'm working on the road I also get paid $580 a week per diem which if you dont know what is, it's money for living on so hotel, food, etc. It's basically impossible to spend all of that so I also bank probably 1/2 to 1/3 of that a week.

As far as poker goes I play a bit, I haven't really been motivated to work at it or towards the 100k goal yet and I'm not gonna really push that. I'll just play and see what happens I guess.

I want to start investing my money that I have sitting around but the stock market really blows and I dunno what else there is to invest into when money is shitty so I'll be looking to be buying some poker action or staking in +EV situations for now or until I find something to start sticking lots of money into so if you are looking for something like that let me know.

I also recently wrecked my truck and it's totaled so I have to get a new vehicle sometime but I'm not gonna be at home but maybe a week or so total a month so I hate to buy something where my payments will be $500 a month and insurance will be a lot too when I can't justify having it for a few nights a month. I don't really know what to do about my vehicle situation yet but I'm saving lots of money and will probably just wait til I have enough cash to pay upfront for whatever I'm getting.

Also, I'm still losing weight and I'm nearing my perfect weight (few lbs off) I wish I could start working out but it's really hard when I'm only in one place for a few weeks and then I go to another city. I'm currently in Portland so if you're around here let me know and maybe we can meet up and do something.

Cake Poker....
  eightfourO, Oct 18 2008

So, i don't like the layout, and i don't like the format, i don't like the fact that i have about 10 seconds to act b4 it folds my cards, making multitabl'ing 4 tables nearly impossible...(they mucked AQ twice and 10's three times...). Playingwise, the first two times i had aces, they got cracked, and they only been cracked thru about 80K hands on Pstars 3-4 times...
I flopped 2 pair 3 times just to be called by a draw, twice a gutshot, and they hit...
so i was down like 4 bi's on 10nl within like 45 minutes...
Not good since i bought in w/ 75...
So i instadroppeddown to 4nl and made $20 in about half an hour. Today i made another 20, (and inbetween lost like 2 bi on 4nl) so my br on cake is at about 62...

Not bad...i like the competition, they're all idiots. Just need luck for the 10nl game.

Offering sunday 200g stakes
  CrownRoyal, Oct 18 2008

Since the stock market sucks and I don't have anything to invest in and I enjoy gambling I'll stake anyone for the sunday 200g @ 70/30 split no stakeback.

if you can show me you're a decent player I might cut you a better deal

NL again..
  NeillyJQ, Oct 18 2008

As clafified in earlier blog posts, I'm Yet again working my way up the cashgame ladder. (if u don't know just read through yesterdays blogs and comments)

today i started with $30, 4 tabling nl2.

the game is ridiculously easy (jinx) at these stakes though, i managed to win 7bi in close to 2 hrs of play

heres my stats from todays session;

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 1389 hands and saw flop:
- 188 out of 288 times while in big blind (65%)
- 70 out of 287 times while in small blind (24%)
- 183 out of 814 times in other positions (22%)
- a total of 441 out of 1389 (31%)
Pots won at showdown - 60 of 104 (57%)
Pots won without showdown - 300

I made a couple bad folds that are posted on lp, but overall i feel i played my best.

I pulled close 14bb/100 which isn't too bad for my first session back to nl2.

Not to lie, I am going to be "degen" with it, by moving up micros at 10-20 bi til i hit nl25 where i'll build up a solid roll before moving to nl50 (nl5 at 100 and nl10 at 200, nl25 at 400-500), moving down if i hit 8-9 bi and rebuilding up *day[9] helped incorporate this strategy into my mind well*

Oh well, hopefully the first of many blogs on my way back up, for the 255th time.

Just knowing I can make 5k a month on nl25 and nl50 is enough motivation to keep me going non stop.

yeah, flame me all you want, omfg neilly you suck your at nl2 again, blah blah, trust me ive heard it a fucking million times, who cares. if u wanna flame im going to start banning people from my blog.

in other news im looking for an $11 stake for the $200k gntd tomorrow to split 50/50 profits with, if anyones interested pm me (my rolls only 65.88 and don't want to shell out $11 for the tournament)

u can sharkscope me to decide if you think im a good investment, obviously i have won my fair share of tournaments.

hmm...gonna go eat lunch and watch the rest of the penn state game, be back on in a few hours.

GL everyone,
Ryan

I played alot today and ran my roll down to $16. FML

To clarify something
  NeillyJQ, Oct 17 2008

I've taken someones advice and read through some of my old blog posts, which I used to NEVER read the responses to (literally 15-20 blogs without reading one response), and see that I was being constantly flamed for "owing ppl money", etc, to clear it up, my debts to the lp community are fucking tiny. The only person I owe anything significant to is robinson47 who is giving me as much time as i need to pay him (and im going to pay him with 100% interest of what he loaned me)

I also owe jlost88 a few hundo, which i will clarify (one day he lent me $12, i won a $12 180 man sng), we made a deal that i was going to give him 50% of my profits after the month was over or something like that, but after winning the tournament i shipped him back the $12 and started with a roll of 500 from the win. i ended up busting it and haven't gotten him his $ from that yet, yet he knows he will also receive it, and he has made over 100k this year, so its NO big deal at all, to either of us, since we both know he will get it.

hmmm....I owe doomer like $100 left from a $1k loan a long while back that I've paid him off on several occasions, with large portions of my roll when I could have waited til it was a much smaller % of my roll, but i did the right thing. Doomers worth over 100k as well.

so for all of you fucktards out there saying and or thinking im some degenerate scumbag who scams people out of 10 dollars you are fucking sadly mistaken and need to stop listening to dumbshits who only now hearsay.

the only people i "owe" anything to have given me infinite time to pay them back, have never hassled me about it, and to be honest its none of your guys fucking business, and if i hear another word about it im going to fucking find logiabs, pay him $4k to hunt you down and kill you.

//hostility off

GL everyone,
Ryan

lol fuck my life
  Sheitan, Oct 16 2008

My 1st mtt victory has to be an 8$ shitty tourney, fuck me lol, i've been deep in 3 tournaments today including the 35k guaranteed and it has to be this one where i run decently and take it down. I pretty much steamrolled the FT and i crushed the guy HU, not hard when it's an 8$ tourney, ah well at least it will contribute to my BR reconstruction.

Also, i sent nutshot 1$ while i was deep into the 35k for the boomswitch and i took this one down a couple hours after, if you guys didn't send him 1$, seriously just do it, best investment ever.

Gawd, why it has to be the smaller tournament i registered in today, oh well can't complain xD

Won a sat to Quarter Million
  Sheitan, Oct 15 2008

Starting in 1h23, play it or unregister for monies ? The last 30 days i won 3 sunday mill tickets, 1x 500$ wcoop seat, and now this one. Everytime i played them and i didn't make it ITM. Should i start unregistering and get the money instead ? I currently have 200$ on my account lmao, one should ask why i play 44$ sat, well they're so soft it's like a walk in the park...

So degen it up a la Neilly or rebuild my anorexic BR ?

I want to gamble so much someone stop me to do it !
