since my bankroll was up to 3k i decided to take a shot at 100 nl and 3/6 limit
my 100nl shot went really well coz i game selected really good looking for huge fish and when they busted i just left the table. i was playing 6 tables of 3/6 and 1 100nl table for fun. which turned out to be really profitable!
well i got crushed in 3/6 limit, made a grand total of negative $29 over 10khands sigh. was messing around too much with the regulars and some of them are terrible but some of them are really good i learnt alot. must have been funny for them to see this guy come out of nowhere making all sorts of crazy plays. apparently they were having none of it and snapped called my bs up lol.
anyway apparently in limit alot of players have 0bb at the lower stakes and 1bb is considered good, as rakeback is around 3bb. so im technically at 3bb now. for alot of players, the money they make comes from rakeback, which i will get soon when i reach 100kfpp points. anyway, i gained 60k fpp points this week so just 30k more points rofl. i have been mass playing and i should really stop playing poker for the moment.

I've been living in the Dallas area for 20 years, and i've never seen any rain from a hurricane since i've been here. As a matter of fact, the only weather related incident i've seen from a hurricane is it dropped to 70 degrees and was really windy when Gustav hit a couple of weeks ago.
Ike is now a Category 3 hurricane, and in Galveston it started flooding b/c of the storm surge the hurricane brings when the hurricane was still 200 MILES AWAY. They are expecting to get another 2 feet of rain b/c of the hurricane. My friend was there and the "Flood Wall" that galveston created at 5 P.M. today (four hours ago) and said that water was already overflowing over the wall. The wall is 17 feet tall.
From my understanding, the last Cat-3 hurricane that hit Galveston was in the year 1900, and 1,600 people died. Obv, they didn't have technology that said would make them aware of a hurricane, and they couldn't evacuate, so the death toll won't be as high, but damn.
Going back to the "i've never seen the effects of a hurricane in Dallas", If the hurricane stays true to it's size and path, it will hit Galveston as a Cat-3, then it will be a Cat-2 when it reaches Waco, then then a Cat-1 HURRICANE when it hits DALLAS, finally turning into a tropical storm when it gets into OKLAHOMA.
So Galveston is flooded, hurricane has yet to make landfall, expected at 1A.M., they will get 2 more feet of rain. Dallas will be hit by a hurricane, and my games tomorrow will be cancelled.

This is a very interesting situation i am in... Hurricane Ike is 600 miles in diameter, and is as big as the state of Texas (which it's going to hit Galveston). I've been hit by a hurricane while on vacation in Florida, but it wasn't as big as this. We are expecting to get 4-6 inches of rain in DALLAS. Thats 300 miles away from the coast. I've lived here for all 20 years, and i don't remember ever getting rain from a hurricane. Ever. When it hits Galveston, it's expected to be a category 4 which is up to 155 MPH winds...Hurricane Katrina which destroied New Orleans was a Cat-3.

I threw marcus a shuriken and we headed into the darkness. The tenseness in the air was to say the least... INTENSE. of course im not sucidial enough to go into nl400 anytime soon. playing limit i jumped from gold star to plantinum in ONE DAY from 2/4. and limit has helped ALOT with my post flop play. this graph is over 2 days and i made $800. yesterday played 3k hands and ended up 700. today i woke up and played so shitty so a total of $86 was made over 5k hands.
im actually loving limit now. no big decisions, tables are very fast and at most u lose 1 big bet in a decision. and i cant rmb how many times i have value betted my paired garbage on all 3 streets only to be looked up by AK AQ KQ etc i.e i have 92 o a 24479 board, or check raised river/turn with my made hands and the donk just blindly cbets into me. then calls my reraise. So hilarious lol, there are ALOT more fish in limit.

Would anyone be interested in stakin me for the WCOOP Event number 15..i would buy in myself but ive cashed out 3/4 my roll due to some issues. Its the headsup event and im fairly good at cash headsup, i kno tournament headsup is a bit different but i think im +EV in it. Im gonna sell up to 75% of me and if i can and each percent is exactly what you buy of me so say someone was to buy 50% of my action you get exactly half of my winnings. 1% will be $3.20 and so on.
got really bored with NL so decided to mess around in limit. i have a personal friend i knew from the starcraft days, who plays the highest limit games online eg 30/60 50/100. he sent me his stats and i got the shock of my life. his vpi in 6max was 40-50% and he was a big winner over a large sample size. he says its because his post flop play is extremely good and talked to me abit about his style, which got me curious and wanting to try it out. i obv couldnt hit 40-50% vpip, i did manage to hit around 28% which is a huge jump from my 18% vpip nl stats.
obv went well lol
i found my post flop game has improved by SOOOOOOOOO much since the last time i played limit and im sooo aggresive now. played 9 tables of 6 max 1/2 for about 3 hours. i might actually be really good at limit. and my ffps soared up like crazy and i reached gold star.
