Want MTT Coaching?
nutshot, Oct 23 2007
Dear Nerds:
I will be offering MTT coaching beginning sometime in the near future. For now, I need to assemble a list of prospective students and figure some things out.
*FIRST, I am looking to trade MTT lessons with a SUCCESSFUL 2/4+ 6MAX Player. If this is you, and you're interested, PM me with the following info:
-days/hours you're available to teach/learn
-what MTT's you'd want to play
-what cash game stakes you play
-your ptbb, and your vpip/pfr
*SECOND, and more important for most of you who are reading this, I WILL BE COACHING MTT's starting soon at $75/hr. I WILL ALSO CONSIDER PROFIT SHARING OVER A CERTAIN # OF TOURNAMENTS, instead of the fixed $75/hr. It's all negotiable. If you are interested, PM me the following info:
-days/hours you're available to learn
-what MTT's you play
-your www.officialpokerrankings.com results (type in your stars/ftp screename and send me the linked page with your results)
-your stars/ftp screename
-anything else you'd want me to know.
If ANYONE has any questions about this, feel free to PM me. I'm open to discuss pretty much anything about this with anybody. Tell your friends, too.
-Mike

hey nerds:
having a good start to the week... here are the good results so far:
monday night:
$33 11pm MTT - 6th of 378 for $510
$33 2am MTT - 3rd of 443 for $1,309
tuesday night:
$162 nightly 100k - 16th of 899 for $1,011
$77 6max MTT - 2nd of 231 for $2,749
i suck at final tables all of a sudden, i guess.
anyway, i've been feeling really good about my game the last two days, and i think a big score is coming very soon.
in other news, the sports betting season begins for me in a few weeks with the open of college basketball. myself and BJLTNYK are going to be making a killing... we throw ourselves into it wholeheartedly and do massive research, plus we're awesome. stay tuned to our blogs if you want to follow our picks and make some money yourself. we'll also be betting some NHL once we feel out the rhythm of the season, and a few select football games also.
later nits!
a little update
nutshot, Oct 14 2007
hey nerds:
been an up and down 10 days or so.. having a bit of a tough time at the MTT tables. been doing a little self examination and i think i found a few leaks in my game, so i'll be back with a vengeance this week.
in other news, i begin my quest to qualify for the PCA today.
i'm going to 12-table step 1's, and go from there.
sorry for the unusually boring post, yo.
**update - played one set of the 7.50 step 1's... got 3 replay step 1's, and 3 step 2 seats.
and i ran horrific. lost i think just about every flip. these should be ez.

Another good night, +$2k-ish.
I'm too lazy for screenshots tonight, so here's the copy/paste of the congratulatory emails.
