So I lost a bit more in omaha because I'm stupid enough to continue playing despite running like crap and today I actually felt that I tilted again. Haven't felt like this for like 6 month. This is not acceptable. From now one I'll keep strictly to 2/4 NL for the next 30k hands, if I make more then 8k I'll move up to 3/6, if I do less I'll probably continue with 2/4. I'm still up for the year, but I feel that it's getting more and more unacceptable. I know poker has it's ups and downs, but my lack of discipline or maybe rather urge to move up quickly is slowing me down. I'll need to be more of a grinder both when I run bad but especially when I run good. No fucking shot taking until I've won back what I've lost the last few days.
Ohh, and "Let the right one come in" or whatever it's called rocked. See it.
People is really, really trying to give me money but they just can't seem to succeed. Down like 12k or something for the month so I'll just change back to NL I guess. I've found a couple of new leaks I have in omaha, I think, but overall I've just been running like absolute crap. Only thing that seems to hold is crapy AA's pf, other then that I think I've lost the most with mid set (vs TP + gutshots and such monsters) and dominating wraps (funny how the low end always seems to hit). And when I lose money while getting it in ahead it's bad.
Overall I feel crappy. Might be the weather or lack of excersize (I'll start again in a week or two). Pretty sure it's not the downswing since I felt like shit even before I started losing. The good part is that I'm getting used to this. Downswings still affect me a bit, but it's not that bad. I know they'll come like 10 times a year, it's a natural law. Today I tilted a bit so I feel annoyed and doubt myself, but mostly I'm self assure enough to know that I'm a winner and will bounce back pretty soon. The only difference is that I'll have to win a bit more next month. Right now I'm like 2k after schedule for the year, but that's just normal.
The good news is that I actually feel semi-motivated for some paper I'll have to turn in in April. The teacher who talked about it was really, really easy going and fun and made it feel like a good idea. I swear to God, if you're happy you'll get older. She's looking like 10 years younger then she apparently is, despite what I can only assume is a reasonably unhealthy life style. Or she might just be faking it.
Now I'll go get some blue berries (or something else, in case it'd look too much like Jamie Gold) out of the freezer and watch Sex and the City with my sister.

As far as diplomacy (that game from the last post goes) you can read about it here.
Played a ridiculus deep micro stakes game yesterday. Got owned by Remmember87 in a pot or five. Who the fuck valueshoves AQo on AK7x in a 4bet pot for like 500bb more in a 600bb pot on the turn vs my Q7o when it's so obvious that he should have QJ or JT 110% of the time?
Newer play board games with a mix of semidrunk and sober law students unless the rules are as easy as in tic-tac-too. We've been playing diplomacy the last 8 hours and we've played 10 rounds so far. Normal time is 15-20 minutes/round.
This month was fucking weird. First of all my profits comes from Omaha and down like 9k in NL. Since I don't have tracking for omaha I'll have to go with the fact that I asked unibet what I was up a couple of days ago and then subtract/add winnings and withdrawals. That way I'm pretty sure I'm up something like 19k€. And I'll get a couple of k's in rakeback, about 3k from the hold'em part and I'd guess maybe one or two more form omaha. Overall I guess I'm up just over 20k€. This includes a Hold'em downswing of something like 22k. Wtf? I must suck. Overall I feel super out of touch with hold'em 6-max and I'm toying with the idea of playing NLHU and the rest omaha unless some superfish sits. Might play like 3/6 hold'em too, just because it always runs.
Very annoyed that Joe won more then me this month. Fucking nit . J/K <3 u man, only unibet reg I don't hate with a passion. You and Panzergus. He's fun. And that other dude from germany like something87. And a few others. I really only hate the nits that's not from Cheazchland or whatever it's called.
Stuff I'm happy about:
- Won a lot, like more then 10k more then I hoped for.
- Joe also won, LP pwns.
- I pwned Malmis ZvP on LT. I've got rep.
Stuff that tilts me
- I suck at hold'em.
- Law school sucks. It kills my soul. Need a break.
However, on a brighter note my teachers this year owns a lot. Here's a few of them:
This grand old lady made jokes about STD's during a lecture on confidentiality within the public sector.
This one is supernice and and really funny. If I saw here without knowing that she's got a PhD in public law and is really smart I'd assume she worked in a local convinced store and possessed an IQ of less then 85.
This is my main teacher this semester. He uses more curse words per minute then any character in any Quintin Tarantino movie ever. It's 100% awesome and hilarious.
I've also started thinking about how much money in need before I don't need to give a shit anymore. I'd say a mil' and a half € would be a nice start. I need to get started. I hope to have like 300k after this year.
Down a couple of bi more in hold'em. Ran really bad tonight over just a few 100 hands which sucked, so I decided to switch to omaha since that had worked earlier today (was up like 3k, lost that in hold'em and then started this session). A bit of 5/10 and then I sat with a reg and some dude who seems to play high but so far I wasn't to impressed with at 2 tables of 10/20. The reg, who has a big ass blog in one of Sweden's biggest news papers and never gives me action requested HU with the other dude and I said that I'd accept that and leave if the other dude also wanted that. He didn't say anything so I started playing and newspaper-reg sat out and left. Also had another 5/10 table up.
I don't think I run THAT good, even though I was slightly more lucky then the other dude I think, but after a while I felt that I had him figured out pretty well and adjusted really good. Then some reg on 5/10 started tilting and all in all I made like 6-7k from this omaha session.
Lol, I send a E-mail to my site because I wanted to know how much money I've made this month and I don't have PT 2 for omaha. I figured it'd be around 6 or 7k. It was 12 731€.
Is this a brag (I'm making more money then I though) or a beat (I suck at math)?
Bad: Actually down like 1.2k in hold'em. Not running superbad or anything, just can't seem to get a break without losing 5+ bi during the next 5 min. And whenever I bluff with backdoors and pick up some equity on the turn people seems to flop trips or better. Annoying.
Good: I'll get like 4k in rakeback so w/e.
Better: Up 5k or so in omaha. (No tracker or anything, but pretty sure it's within 1.5k from that number.)
Dunno if I'll make my goal of 10k profit this month or not, but I'll probably be somewhere close to it. Considering how great December went I'm just happy to make a profit. I feel that I'll need a fresh start of some kind and a new clean month might just be it.
Other then that I'm considering having a white month again. I'm getting more and more fed up with hangovers and drunken debauchery. Can't have that when I'm trying to get rich, no can we?
Not quite sure how many omaha hands I've played this month, since I don't have PT2 omaha and PT3 doesn't work on prima, but I'm toying with the idea of putting like 2k or something on some site on another network and play with like 10bi just to see if I can get a small PLO roll going on a site where there's actually regular action higher then 1/2. Suggestions? Need to be something with a base of operation within the EU.
