i want to become rich

oldschoolkid   . Jul 18 2007 18:30. Posts 6

Hello everyone. As my name indicates, I'm an old school starcraft player that made a bit of money off the game, but certainly not enough to make a living! I've just recently started playing poker online, though I have been searching for a place where good to decent players tend to hang out. So far, I have not come into very good competition, and feel I'm not going to learn anything unless I start to play with people that have a good grasp of the game. Where do you guys tend to play? I know I saw mention of tournaments, but I did not see indication of where they took place.

Any help is much appreciated, and I look forward to playing with any of you old starcraft fans.

Based on what? That I said I made a bit of money? I wasn't trying to imply anything except that I have an understanding of starcraft.

I suppose someone else has already asked my question in the past. My apologies if I said anything redundant.

My name is Barry and I used to post on 2p2, somtimes I still do. About 2 months ago I started lurking here when my work decided to block the 2p2 site. I play 100nl on PS and should be moving up or at least taking shots at 200nl shortly. My goal for poker is to use it as a means to pay off my student loans/car, I have a ways to go. Also, I have no idea what starcraft is, I'm assuming its like a wow/everquest online rpg type game?

It's a rts game from a company called blizzard (same people who made diablo and warcraft). It was released somwhere in 1998 if I'm not mistaken and is still played a lot online. Also you have a proffesional league (with sponsored teams etc.) in south-korea where you can make money of the game and the games get shown on television. Not going to bother you with more info since I'm pretty sure you don't want to know more about it

But we at Liquidpoker don’t care about that. Our players are nutjobs, maniacs, psychics, and unstoppable beasts at the poker tables, crushing the highest limits around -[vital]Myth

sup nits; my name's mike, and i don't think i ever posted in this thread. i found LP through pooruser, who took all my money freshman year of college at live shortstacked 50NL.

when i started out online, i had no clue what i was doing, and played everything imaginable.

now, i've realized that MTTs are the best thing for me, and i love them. except for when i hate them.

Hey, I'm Lars, I'm ig.erling's brother and a rather lonely norwegian Starcraftsupporter.

I have been studying math, chemistry, programming, physics, signal processing, astronomy, and everything else that is fun for the last 8 years at the university of Oslo while earning money by exercising at a storage, lifting 5 tons of fruit and vegetables a day.

I'm a science fiction fan, I watch most of the sci. fi. / fantasy that comes out of USA and gb, and a little bit of the asian stuff.

I have enough money, but need to keep the flow up i some way, hopefully poker if I can learn to play a little more hands and still be a winning player.

Hey, name's Chris. I have been reading LiquidPoker.net since it started maybe 2 years ago? I forget exactly. I used to read all the poker stuff back at TeamLiquid.net Rekrul's stories pretty much got me into the poker scene. Seeing as how my bankroll is pretty shitty, and I am still trapped on the 0.01/0.02 blind level, i need to get my game on track. I have read a few books, such as SuperSystem, and I think they helped me. My ID on TL.net is CaucasianAsian. I guess I should get more active in here so then I can learn more and become a better poker player all around.

Say this outloud! Why was six afraid of seven?......Because Seven Eight Nine
