chobo has been here under the new name for quite a while, and I know at least a couple of the mods are aware it is him, not like he is being very sneaky. Since his old account is completely nuked and all posts removed, I have wondered why he's gotten by under the new name at all.

Possibly an air of forgiveness? Second chances are such sweet deals.

Yah thats kinda what I mean. Even if you mark them, they'll just hop to a new one which renders the whole process moot. Same can be said about warning threads like this, but the population need to know at some point I suppose

yes these threads are needed to raise awareness and burn the person and they need to be banned too, when i was a mod nobody told me about chobo's new handle, i would have banned him right away

I have actually had chobos AIM for like 3/4 years and use to talk to him all the time. So when he asked for a stake, I felt more comfortable staking him then I did for other players in the past, People get themselves in bad situations and do things they wouldn't do sometimes. We had other horses who have done similar things but after confronting them they do show remorse and have payed back there debt. Many players do not want to ruin there reputation over a stake. It is just irritating seeing him posting about parting all time while he claims to be so broke that he cant send anything for payment.

Hopefully Marcel will make this right.

Altough I dont stake people at all so im not in danger, its nice to see that you warn others of staking him while at the same time acknowledge that he is likely to try and get a stake soon. A less honorable guy would keep his mouth shut in hopes of getting him to repay the original stake with winnings from his new stake.
