servers are back up

finally got a beta key today

i solved frustration problems by going 0-5 in placement so i can take my time and work up from copper, currently #1 silver but might not be able to play for a month now *sobs at internet*

you just gotta learn 3 builds (i write them down so i can refer.....poorly) and work on your macro (ewww remember to get gas LOL)

Just feel that sc is a million times better, feel I gave it a shot, played like 100 games in 3-4 days, and read lots of stuff on tl, thought about it, let it sink in, just, nothing, get the feeling u get after u watched porn n had a wank, kinda "meh" zzz, and it's annoying, wanted to love it, but can't force it lol.

the game is amazing though.. very fun

does anyone want to donate a spare USA beta key to stimey (pm me)? im trying to get him to play coz im sure he'd enjoy it. if he stops playing ill give it right back to you

lol :D Just when I started enjoying mass infestor strategy, they nerf dat shit. I think it was funny too that they said it's because ultralisks are too easily mind controlled in zvz.

ya, new patch kinda nerfed protoss hard making sentries dmg reduced by 25% and colossus damage reduced by 25% (although they fire slightly faster)

errrrr so 20 hydras and 40 lings dont die in 2 hits? sentry rush was seriously OP aswell, i'm glad it got a small nerf. you need to play from the other races perspective and realise just how hard some of your shit is to deal with

for zerg (and terran sometimes) you can be a saturated base ahead of your opponent but attacking at the wrong time or wrong position will auto-lose you the game. the majority of my games are lost from stupid attacks against collossos when i'm WILDLY ahead. this is 100% my fault and is comparable to tvp in sc1 except you actually insta lose when you attack rather than being able to withdraw with your goons and replenish frantically

90% of my losses have been due to wrong unit composition (lings instead of bannelings) or attacking chokepoints (1000 hydras vs 3 collossos at a choke)

and i find zerg overwhelmingly the "responder" race.....its like playing sc1 pvz every game. scouting is a bitch (hey sack an overlord every time u need information) and you're always playing the responder

thats what zerg is all about, being a responder. Playing too agressive is always risky, because one wrong attack and your are done. I kind of like the patch it makes mech stronger

The DPS is the same in a combat situation tho, the difference is it's not bursts, so the colossus is likely to take more dmg in the fight.

For colossus I mean, not for sentry.
