w/ out seeing poll first choice would be fuschia. second choice would be magenta.
w/ seeing poll it's pink and not close.
further review i don't want to waste too much time going into what i found on wikipedia (which was actually kinda interesting) but i'll try to summarize w/ one point. look at the color wheel whoosel posted. stars colors are not consistent w/ that color wheel which allows for an argument. the color is clearly something between red and blue (purple or pink) but that color is definitely closer to red than blue (pink). case closed unless prop bet relies on jury..... |

actually after further further review (reading about purple on wiki) i think this is insanely close. now i think it's possible that stars picked a color pretty much exactly RIGHT in between red and blue.
i think the key to solving the question lies in these numbers:
"This is (215, 45, 255).
Purple is (128, 0, 128).
Pink is (255, 192, 203)."
i don't know what these numbers mean but if each one is weighted equally and assuming "stars" color is "this" color
pink: 40, 147, 52 = 239
purple: 87, 45, 127 = 259
so, final answer would be pink and it's pretty damn close. if shadowdrgn's numbers aren't straightforward or "stars" color doesn't equal "this" color then i give up but for a rando sidebet/poll this turned out to be quite a mindfuck. plus i actually learned something wasting time online which basically never happens so high fives all around. |

They're red-green-blue (RGB) values. (215, 45, 255) is the stars custom color under discussion. I just opened the image in MSPaint and used the dropper tool to get those numbers. |
