obv the occasional double post (especially when each post is on a totally different thing, like one post you're answering the OP and the next post you're quoting/answering an off topic post) is fine. But as a regular occurrence it's annoying.

like seriously I coulda just had this in the last post but I thought of saying this line after I clicked post, and instead of hitting edit I gotta make a new post even though there's no real reason this post should be separate.

there's an edit button for a reason. If there's no edit button then there's more reason for multiple posts, though it is logical that you should try to THINK before pushing the "submit post" button. But we all think of things we wanted to say AFTER we submit a post, so if there's no edit button then there's no choice but to make another post. But there IS an edit button so use it.

I'd be "anal" if he made the occasional multiple post. But when he multi-posts more often than he does a single post, then it's not anal to point it out. And maybe you missed it, but I nicely asked him to stop and he shat a brick about it, which is why I had some fun with him via this blog post.
