Board game. You start at the middle and make a word with 7 letters you get or something. Every next word has to be connected to the words already on the board. Some letters are worth more than others because they get used less. On the board there's a big roster. Every square you can put one letter. The idea is that you have to make words with your letters. If you can't make a word you take 1 letter from the remaining letters (you take it blindly). There are multipliers on the board. Like if you get a Z (which is worth like 6 points, while an E is only worth 1) you gain a lot of points fast. There's 2x multiplier and up to 4x.
At least that's what I think they're talking about haha. |

There are some cases which make your word total point multiplier to 3x max.
Some that only count your letter point which is 3x max aswell.
I've never heard about getting 1 additionnal letter when we couldn't find a word, maybe rules differs with the country. Afaik, you must take all your letters in your "hand" and put them in a bag to randomize and get 7 (or 8 ? i don't remember) new letters. |

It's really interesting how so any top level poker players were good/great at some other (seemingly unrelated) game before: Scrabble, Chess, Starcraft, Backgammon, Bridge... |

Usually because people who have the drive to be good at one thing, when they dedicate themselves to something else, will have the same drive and therefor become top level at that. |
