not to mention, this reflects poorly on those pros imo. like when u think of online poker, part of the reason people come to watch games on ftp is cuz patrik and ivey and benyamine play such high stakes and throw money around(benyamine) and ppl associate ivey and them with being such a huge part of ftp and i believe theyre partial owners of the company or w/e and for this to happen really sheds light on their credibility, even if it isnt directly, just through association. i think something swift has to happen.

problem is there is no protocol or set rules in place when stuff like this happens. This is why you need it regulated and licensed where people who do crap like this can face prosecution and have hearings in place etc. Apparently, these players were from different countries and some are known for wild play. stars uncovers collusion all the time and refunds people who got hustled, often times without them even noticing before getting the refund. I know a lot of people got refunded on stars for collusion at some point.

Collusion is pretty easy in internet poker that being said it's also done in live games. There are ways to cheat but all decent poker rooms and online poker sites are aware of that and take measures against it. Refunds are passed out and players accounts are closed. People are banned from particular casinos. In a few words "shit happens" as long as the people managing the business take proper actions against those who cheat then I'm perfectly happy.

this could have happened on any poker site, it just happened on full tilt because of the higher traffic at high stakes games, and the opportunity to collude in a 6 handed game, rather than other sites who rarely get anything more than hu running.

hopefully ftp will find a decent solution to this, but it's not really their fault. people collude at low stakes all the time, this is just considered a big deal because of the limits played.

I play on FTP and it seems fine to me...yes there are shady moments as there are on many sites. Collusion is evident on all sites, and for people to say that I love stars etc is a joke. Mez was caught colluding on stars which shows the integrity on that site. its a unfortunate but existent part of online poker. All sites have collusion on them, and for one to single out FTP is wrong because there have been incidents of collusion on all sites including the biggest game on stars and the biggest players on the site.

I doubt they did that and then expected to be compensated but I will say that their thread seems very aggressive, definitely overboard given the circumstances so perhaps it was planned and if they bitched hard enough they knew they'd get their money. spoke to my guy in security and that is a serious concern over this. Emails were sent and they continued to play at those tables. Obviously, the issue about collusion is paramount here. FTP wants to look good and mgmt will have final say what is deemed after full review is written. This is def not as clear a case of colluion as others are. Also, some plyers have posted they didnt think is was cklearly a collusion issue such as SamH and his posting on 2p2 has been read by ftp.
