I dunno whether to be happy or sad. I'm never going to have a life again. I spent 7 years playing D2 on and off. The gameplay video was sick, and now I have a D3 wallpaper. I was psyched for SC2.. but that can't even compare to D3.

i hope they do a better "ladder system"

it should reset every months or something
even a "pay" ladder. everyone pays 50$ or something and winner at the end of month gets everything

Damn sick vid, I played D2 + LoD for so freaking long, kick-ass barb + necro back in the days. This is probably going to own my life when it gets released and then to remember that a year before this gets released I will go no-life mode over SC2.

I know it's just a first look and all but I'm rather disappointed, Diablo has always been the more serious/mature series of blizzard, yet they make this game all blocky and cartoony as hell and they even put in a fucking Warcraft TROLL WITCH DOCTOR, to replace the necromancer. Who the fuck that has ever played Diablo been like, hey lets get rid of the necromancer and add a Dota character. Aside from that the level design looks to closed up. Diablo is about wide sea of monsters not a narrow hall way. If you watched the game play video everything was so linear in the sense that there was no wrong turns, it went start walk in the preset line to boss. Diablo is about mythical labyrinths that people get lost in for the rest of their short lives.

Will be keeping a close eye on it but at this point it all like the original SC2 siege tank. IT LOOKS LIKE A FUCKING TOY FROM PBS KIDS.

How the fuck did you end up losing your way in diablo I or II dude? also, every single dungeon in d2 is somewhath narrow, now it's like 5x wider in every direction (monsters crawling form underneath - yay!).

Doc looks nice imo, nice solution to "wtf are necromancers doing fighting against evil" problem.

I'm bit dissapointed with character models, like, it doesn't show of that much in the gameplay, but look in classes menu, they differ very mouch from the background, look clumsy and cube-like. I'm bit worried since the whole page is a show-off and they look simply shitty.

i barely played d1/2 and didnt play online cuz i was only like 56k at the time heh

god I played D2 and BW for so long since I was like 8 or 9 when sc2 and d3 comes out there goes a few more years

i hope i have a giant BR when this comes out. coz ill be taking a huge vacation - from life

It just looks the same as D2.... Im pretty sure i even saw a barb doing Whirl Wind... they should have saved themselves some time and just added a new story to the old one..

I was super excited when i heard this was going to be announced, now that I watched gameplay video i am like 85% sure I wont get it.

there will always be people who whine. either change the game too much and the old players aren't interested anymore or don't change it enough and they say they wanted more.

The battle.net forums are full of toolbags complaining about how it looks cartoony, or it's not grim/dark enough, etc etc. People take games so seriously..

its in development guys, chill... i agree i would like it to be much more "photo looking" and darker.
