Am I the only one who spent 40% of my time on D2 scamming people??

Enigma, teleport across wall to pick up loot on the ground, annihilius charm plundering.

Making game with pw, find a safe spot to trade, then I already had a mate in the game who's ready in the sewers, next to the luth golein door yay.

Oh Wobbly, I also had 8 bots running when that thing was the shit, but kept practicing, andariel run in around 10 seconds, in and out, was timing that shit. And most time was spent chatting, trading, hunting down charms that were worth 100's of high runs, had one worth 111 high runes, skill charm with max prefix, yayyy.

Ps, do feel bad about the scamming, tricking people, but was so much fun.

I had roughly a dozen bots going 24/7 for years and tppk hundreds of people in hc, but never scammed anyone.

Think some of the rare necks was the most valuable items in game, heard one went for 1800 high runes lolz

Always sold for cash or fg, never cared for the duped hr market. Best thing I ever found was a near perfect 3iceblast/3coldmastery/3all cold skills/fcr/life+str/dex+2soc wand sold for a little over $400 on ebay, also had a near perfect 6tornado/5hurricane+life/str/dex pelt that went for $250ish

so i have a dilemma...my gf's b-day is on the 16th the day after release...what can i do to minmize the dmg it'll cause to my fight vs the forces of evil?

I remember getting scammed at least two times the same way.

I was trading for a Bartuc's claw (forgot the name, but it was unique) and we were in the trade window with our items and I was getting a really good deal at the time. He then took out the item and was like, "Naw man, I don't think I can trade this for that much." So I put in a little extra random item and then we had a deal. He puts the claw back in really fast and hits the check mark, I do the same. I look at my inventory and it's a fucking regular white claw. He INSTA fucking leaves game.

I end up fucking whispering him and threatening him to get banned (I was like 12 or some shit) and he logs off and my fucking week was ruined right there. SO MAD >.

Ah, yeah, that was a beginner scam, did that a lot with armor plates, like if a sick one was purple, and another one was shit purple, id do the swap trick, worked a lot yay xD

I think that's a glitched item, due to lag, sometimes it gets more properties, I think that item is worth 900 high runes lol

i scammed once and i barely feel bad about it cuz it was such a cool scam even the scammed people felt it was cool lol.

I would type in chat of a game (or channel, not sure anymore) that i am looking desesperatly for X unique item and willing to pay a lot for it (it would have to be an item that is actually rare that nobody keeps, but which have 0 value). then sometimes people would add me to friend or something and tell me they will trade with me once they find one.

Then a bit later, one of my friend goes and trade one of those bullshit item to the guy for half what i wanted. and there, we have sold a worthless item lol.
