Moneys money though.

Still confused. Did Milkman buy out of the prop bet or did the others buy out?

Raise me and die.

"Clay offered me a $2400 buy-out."

...

Why would Milkman pay Clay 2400 when he only stood to lose 600 if he didn't last.

=/

Man, I'll come over and you guys can lock me in there for 3 days for 2,400, damn, glad to do it. =)

Sad to see it over so soon - was lots of fun to watch. Plus I was very curious to see if you'd pull it off. I thought you'd make it but now we'll never know =( Plus I figured you'd go a bit loopy @ some point and that would be fun to watch, hehe.

oh well, money is money and I think at that price it's a good choice.

yo someone ban s1klyf for coping my stars name with the same numbers and letters and shit..

and for anyone wondering, clay paid me 2400 to leave the pantry at that time and end the bet. We also agreed that loser would pay for food. Basically he felt that there was no way i would leave so he could save him self the 600.

obv there is no way you would leave, but 600$ is a small price to pay to see you suffer for 2 days if you already payed 2400$ for 3 days

As I mentioned in the original thread, I completely dislike this "prop bet" from a moral standpoint, it seems to me it's just an excuse to take a big (for you) amount of money from your friends without any risk or whatsoever and undeserved as well . Covering it up as some cool act of baller-propbetness just doesn't cut it for me. And you shouldn't care if your friends enjoy it or not, it's just wrong.

Rarely do such posts, I am sure I seem like a hater doing it and I kind of regret it because there's nothing I gain but I hope you understand what I mean.

My work is of high quality, cheap and fast. Pick only two of those though.

Rhaegar    Bulgaria. Mar 19 2008 02:08. Posts 2586

I kinda agree with Breeze. This bet is too big for you not to take it seriously and it kills the general idea - instead of having a fun time with your friends, you just take their money..

One very suspicious player

Baalim   Mexico. Mar 19 2008 02:12. Posts 34304

I think people underestimate how fucking hard is to spend 5 days in there.

Eh, I wouldn't spend 5 days in there for 2400. LOL

Still, this does seem more like a gift/paying for entertainment than a bet.

I don't think it was an act to give milkman money. Spending 3 days in a pantry isn't easy. You can even tell from this video. =
Milkman gets to watch clay play online which is like priceless compared to that 2400. Imo it is up to milkman to really start moving up ranks in the poker world. He is playing 50nl now and has the best conditions to start killing the online games.
UP TO YOU MILKMAN !

yea im purposely hustling my best friends by sitting in a fucking pantry for a week..

go fuck yourself coming out saying shit like this, its a fuckin bet, if one person or the other didnt think they had a fair deal we could walk out at any time.. after i spent the first 15 min test in there like an hour b4 i got in, i was sooo nervous and REALLY thought about calling off the bet, and all night the first night i was contemplating walking out of there..
its not like i just fuckin got all happy go lucky to rip off clay and jumped in there out of a fit of happiness.

so fuck u and fuck u saying shit like this about me.

Yeah i don't think Milk scammed anyone here, they made a bet, he won, end of story. And there's no "moral standpoint" since the bet's terms were discussed and accepted before he entered the pantry. Good job Milk !

Odds are exactly 50%, either happens or it doesnt

You obviously dont have best friends?

If this were my mates and we had the same bet for the same amounts then this would basically be an excuse for my friends to try hilarious shit to get me out of the pantry. Much hilarity would be had by all.

Only people with truely great friends could probably understand this.

You are right, I don't understand this - money does not have much to do with my friendships.

If you think a bet like this is about the money you are misunderstanding the whole concept of mates, one-up-manship and bragging rights. Maybe things are different in Bulgaria. Cultural differences might be getting in the way I don't know. This bet sounded pretty fun to me with the money being a rub in factor.
