I was talking to a friend of mine in school and I was trying to explain to him that school and the stress plus work at school has dramatically decreased my poker abilities. And thinking about my downswings and the timing I realized that there must be some connection. So when I came home I checked the exact times of my graphs with my school events and I’m surprised. Is this really only a coincidence?
Just to point out I did the EXACT days here. First graph is right after my finals were finished and the winter break has started.
2nd Graph is basically starts from Jan 7th which is the first day I went to school for 2nd semester until Feb 15th (Which is the last day I went to school before our UBC version of “spring” break which basically means that Im off for the next 10 days)
3rd graph is also right after the first day I started my break up until today.
So I belive this is solid proof that basically I cant play optimally when Im at school. Specially my major requires soo much fuckin work thats just retareded. Quiz EVERY fuckin week. schedualed from 8am to 4pm EVERY day at school with only a 1hour break in between. This is really fucked up. I have no plans yet on how to balance things out this semester but Im tryin to think of methods. Anyhow. Dont fuckin goto school if you wanna win!

im going to give u the BEST advice you have ever heard in poker and it will come maybe quite rough to you.
You suck.
You never focused on improving your game, you just focused on playing as many hands as u could but u never learned from them, you have been playing this game for a long time u should be playing higher.
You do make money but you could make much more, stop this retarded pattern understand that you need to improve ur edge so ur swings get smaller, cut down your tables and focus on your game and ur game only
I play 4 tables and i couldnt be any happier with my game i definitely can and will improve but i consider myself a monster in my stakes  |

8am to 4pm? I'm at school 7am to 8pm (YES A WHOLE FUCKING 13 HOURS AT LEAST). 1 or 2 breaks a day (only an hour) as well, I take it for food. A quiz a week? I have a lab a day...
So take a choice, poker or school, if you cant take both, then drop poker and focus on school. Just stop complaining, theres a lot of people who have it worse than this. I just tell myself to toughen up, get it done and stop being a bitch and whining, because that gets me no where. You can do this man, all the best for you, so gogogo get through it. |

i play a much more loose and aggressive game than cap and i dont have those swings because my edge is bigger |
