Actually they do, there has been tests newborn babies and women stare at pictures of faces far longer than men and men to things like car toys etc.
Its pretty obvious that hundreds of thousands of years of evolution not only made our bodies different, but also our minds
Can you point me to that study, I'm curious to the actual conditions it was set in, the tests itself and the following conclusion.
Naturally, men and women would have different patterns of thought and interests but somehow proving what you're claiming seems quite improbable - staring at pictures of faces could mean about a hundred different things doesn't make them more prone to gossip other superficial shit.
