I'm on sick life tilt right now... so tonight I was going to go out to Mission Beach and drink it up with my friends. So I walk down to the private parking garage where my car is at and see this:

OMG NO YOU DIDN'T!!!

MY POOR NEW CAR!!!
WHAT THE FUCK!?! So immediately when I saw it I knew exactly what was going to be missing... my $1200 laptop, and so I check the backseat where I left it and I see this:

NO LAPTOP
Not really that upset about my laptop since I was going to give it to my sister and get a new Dell in a month anyways, but I'm like super heated about my car since I just got it 2 weeks ago (biggest poker purchase so far) and so naturally my car is like my baby. Fuck the faggot that did this OMG...

Called the police after I saw this, they took down a police report on it, but no one came out to look at my car so I'm kinda confused about that. Tomorrow someone from the investigation department is suppose to call me to sort this shit out. First thing I do when I wake up tomorrow is walk straight down to the front office of the Promenades and bitch them out about the security of their gated parking community. Like seriously what the fuck... you only have access to our parking area if you have a key to the gate. Thank god for my friend coming over and making me cookie dough to munch on, otherwise I'd be on NL200 spewing like a monkey right now.

Why is it stupid for him to leave his laptop in his car if he has a PRIVATE GARAGE with a SECURITY OFFICER? Shitty thing to happen, def. give that officer a piece of your mind. |

I realize you may not read this because you are probably on mega life tilt right about now but:
You could probably catch the people that did this, some laptops that are new have tracking device installed in them (unlikely) but ask your manufacturer. They are hardware based and can NAIL someone if it has one.
If it doesn't have one, Im assuming the thief will turn the laptop on and plug it into the internet at some point. When he does this, he will most likely log into your IM clients (aim msn etc (because you have your Passwords stored right??!?!) UH OH better do something abou that too) Wait until you see "yourself" log in. Pretend to be someone else and tell him you owe him (you) money (thieves cant easy avoid money), in one way or another during this conversation you can convince him to do something that directly connects your system to his for picture sending. He will most likely accept, at this point you have his IP address, present this information to the police along with pictures of your car and before you know it you have a subpoena and you can legally find his whereabouts. You will have to act fast, and be smart about it. Use your head, don't get upset do something about it. I have privately investigated many crimes that have been committed against me and got my sweet revenge. Think about how many various things run on your computer and how many of them you can use to track a location if you are so inclined. You know your configs better then anyone. Good luck sir
On a side note --
Someone broke into my car a few years ago, I won't go into details but I knew who it was (and I was pissed) I stole $300~ from him for his attempt on me (even though he got nothing from me). use force fight back. |

Also about the car, if you have insurance (that covers this type of thing). THEY WILL COVER THE DAMAGE, possibly even the laptop. If you have the doors locked and the window was broken, it shows an attempt to protect the goods, so they cover. However if something is stolen with the door unlocked they wont cover it. however this is an optional form of insurance and im guessing you dont have it. |

but you misplayed the flop. seriously i'd never leave anything like laptop in the backseat of my car. i wouldnt even leave a backpack etc. it's too tempting for those fags. once someone broke into my dads car just to steal one fucking dollar that was on passenger's seat. |

That sucks man. Just change all your passwords asap. Also, be carefull if you had any confidencial info (credit card, etc ..) on it. The dic.k who stole it is probably to dumb, but he will sell it to somebody, who is probably as crooked who knows howto use that info. |
