Lightning in recent year is such a monster team but I haven't watched them as much this year as I was watching montreal/bruins.

The playoff is such a different beast this year and it will be weird once the teams face the other divisions since they didn't play at all.

I'm really thrilled the bruins are up 3-1(haven't watched tonight game so no spoiler) as you know my cousin is now team captain and he has had a pretty good year imo. If pastnak gets going they got a really good shot at it with their 2nd line with kreji/hall/smith. Taylor had like 2 goals whole season w the sabre and he has like 15 now lol.

Montreal I'm not too sure they can really get far even if they got two new really good scorer. Not sure why canucks traded toffoli for so cheap, I guess they got many high end scorer already.

I have no idea who will win the NBA finals, but I've been winning money by betting the same trends in the regular season.

I don't really do so well on NBA, NHL, and MLB games. I did okay on 'total runs' in baseball for a while but went on a bit of a tilt Sunday and lost most of what I won on Saturday from Vegas 27. Looking to get better on other sports. A friend of mine said put money on the Jazz - I don't have a pick myself.

On a related note - i did get a free $1000 bet from DraftKings. As for now, it expires on 05/31. I'm going to see if I can get that date pushed back (because I'd rather use it betting live on Vegas 28, June 5th). They never mentioned anything about an expiration date when they told me about the promo - i was just told it would be based on bets wagered over the weekend. I like to bet live because it's safer but obviously it's harder to get a good money line. Another option is to string together a couple fights or more that are pretty much guaranteed to win, in a parlay, to get somewhere in the range of (--110) to (+110) without taking on too much risk. That worked well for me with Vegas 27 when it came to betting ahead of time.

Right now, I'm liking Tom Breese (-240) vs A.Arroyo (+188), Alidza when his fight was listed, and/or Mason Jones (-305), Sean Woodson (-225), and Leavitt (-240).
I'm also open to any across-sport parlays

Question is, what would you do with a free $1k bet if you wanted a good return but definitely a safe bet?

I meant to ask, does BETAnySports (or whichever one you use) allow for betting from any State? I was reading that some sites exist (BOVADA, MyBookie, 5Dimes, to name a few) that work any where. One drawback is those sites don't have mobile app options (which I must say is pretty neat), but, is this true? I think it would be a good trade-off.

It looks like they also offer good prop bets, etc, based on what you share. Does it work well for you and do you have any issues with the site that they could improve?

Yes, BetAnySports (BAS) can be used from any state. BAS used to look exactly like 5dimes until 2 weeks ago, now it looks totally different and they don't offer that many UFC props.

That being said, I have saved money during the past 2 weeks by not betting props, and instead betting a few people who I think will win, then live betting everything else.

The live bet on BAS allows you to live bet in the middle of a round, whereas most other websites make you wait until after the round is over. On BAS, you can live bet the money line at any time, and then you get live bet props like KO/Submission/Decision after each round is over while still being able to live bet the money line. We haven't had something like this in over 5 years, when Bookmaker offered the same thing. I've been telling people about it, but not many of them really get it, since they're still using their favorite book, which doesn't offer this great live betting deal.

I felt that it was a bad bet when I bet Ayton Under 20.5 points. That being said, I expected him not to play that much in Q4, and he ended up playing the entire quarter and only made 1 basket the entire quarter, which was around 2:30 left in the quarter. Oh well.

I got raped by that 76ers game. I had them in several parlays and then Livebet them hard bc I really felt they had a momnetum swing in the 4th, and that it was enough to carry them through the comeback. It was a strange game. I'm definitely learning how much injuries can influence things.

I did much better in the Utah game. It was safer and more straight forward - I got worried there at the end. My personal strategy from now on is to not bet too far ahead into the future, cool it with the parlays, for the most part only live bet - foxusing on one qrtr to the next, keep bets smaller and bet as the game unfolds.

Also, note to self: stop betting on MLB, lol. There's nothing more dull than live betting a baseball game. Might as well be betting on coin flips the whole time anyway

I am going to live bet James Harden's rebound prop line, and possibly his assists line. At the moment, I can get U7.5 rebounds +115, but I am pretty sure he'll get at least 1 early rebound to get me a better line, and he might just do a little better with rebounds this game.

For those of you who missed his last game, Harden finished with 5 rebounds, but 2 of those rebounds were late in the game and he didn't even get the rebound, imo. What happened was, someone else touched the ball and scooped it to him, and Harden was still credited with the rebound somehow, it was weird -- I assume it's because the person who scooped the ball to Harden never fully had possession of the ball, so Harden got the rebound credit.

Harden's assist line of O10.5 is plus odds, but I am waiting to see if I can live bet O9.5 or better.

I'm looking at hedging out. Ayton point total is 16.5 with 7:22 in Q2 and he has played for 13:10 minutes with 1 foul.

What scares me is that the Lakers are a mess right now and LeBron has been playing for 15:52 minutes and he can't carry this team anymore like he used to, so the Suns will maintain a big lead for the rest of the game.

Not sure if now is a good time to hedge the Under 16.5 points.

Edit: Right after I said that, Ayton gets a 2nd foul and sits with 6:30 left in Q2. He won't come back in until the 3rd quarter, but I will be lucky to get a 16.5 point line.

DEN seems a bit weak but so does POR.

I'm going to try a new strategy. It's not original I'm sure but something new for me
I'll only bet plus money. For simplicity I'll just focus on the moneyline. When the line shifts to where the other team is plus money, I will then bet them and I will make it the same amount. For simplicity I'll probably do $100 or multiples of $100 though I suppose I could be any fraction of 100 as long as I Keep it equal. This is a standard safety hedge to guarantee a profit albeit a small profit.

I'll see how it goes and then may use this strategy in some MLB games and see how it goes. But if 2 equal wagers are for each team and at +money, that guarantees a return, no? The way to increase the return would be to increase the multiple of the wager $100=1x, $200= 2X etc

Conceivable drawbacks: it may be difficult to get the hedfe bet in for varioua reasons like moneyline changes too fast or the game ends before one can respond to the line change, or the momentum swing happens after bets are no longer allowed, or obviously the +money stays with the original team which seems to rarely ever happen. In that case I could still hedge and just lose less.

I figure I'll give it a go and see what happens. To be safe I'll stay out small and put $25 on DAL @+125

Rudy Gobert was the main guy who took a lot of my profit away. Good news is, his rebound prop will probably be 12.5 for the next game, which I'll hammer. Just a weird night for him, as they didn't use him much for offense, and several balls bounced away from him to prevent him from going Over 13.5 rebounds. Even though I accidentally made a points prop bet on Gobert, it should've cashed if they gave him a few looks at the net instead of him getting most of his points from being fouled.

Also, today was a tough day to bet, as I had to go to work at my school campus, so I essentially was live betting the Hawks game in the dark (not able to see the actual game, aside from a 2 minute delayed stream). Way too many bets were made in order to climb out of certain spots.

• Devin Booker/Total Assists over 4½ -140 $70 for $50
• Facundo Campazzo/Total Points over 9½ +130 $25 for $32.50
• Michael Porter Jr/Total Points under 19½ -140 $70 for $50
• Deandre Ayton/Total Points over 16½ +100 $50 for $50

Several of the prop lines that I wanted to bet are too high, so I am keeping it small today. I am hoping to Jokic gets a couple of assists early so his assist prop goes from 6.5 to 8.5 or better so I can bet the Under. I think Ayton will go over 16.5 points today, but I only bet $50 thus far because he might start slow, which will give me a better price for me to keep hitting the Over on his point prop.
