That's one of the best parts of town. Walking distance to everything.

If you want something cheaper I could get you walking distance to an Aldi or a Dollar General but it won't be as nice.

Welcome to the closet. I could probably find you something even cheaper if I could remember where this one Dollar General is. Shadyside is a really nice area. I am trying to find something in Bloomfield. Sort of gentrified not really gentrified part of town.

Bloomfield and Friendship are nice areas to live. That is where I would want to live. There are a lot of other options but not really walkable to grocery stores. Mount Washington, Lawrenceville, Squirrell Hill, within the city and then there are a lot of really affordable housing as you start to get outside the city but you would definitely need a car. I had one friend that lived in Sheradon which was super cheap but it was more or less a food desert and potential for violent crimes.

seconded shadyside is a great part of town. You want to steer clear of Amazing Avenue though that's a real ghetto
