Yeah, yeah, yeah. It actually works out pretty well and reasoning is sound. It's not some white knight thing it's based in fairness. My haircut costs me $25. Most women spend upwards of $200 on a hair appointment. That right there is going to make it fair to pay for dinner or drinks.
It's probably relatively well known on here that I've fucked around with prostitutes in my past but that idea repulses me today. I had a friend recently who would always bring up going to the strip club and getting a blow job and that is such a toxic environment and no where for me to be. If I was drinking and doing drugs I could see myself back there in a second though. I don't know where my malady takes me these days. Probably, non-dairy ice cream city but I've been doing pretty well with just getting in a daily bread and not stress overeating. That's kind of where I am flexin' these days. On most days the spiritual malady isn't a thing. That is my message. There isn't a void in my soul and that may be the most important thing for me ever.

Makeup would easily be the difference too. A skincare regimen. Barre or pilates isn't cheap. While GQ would have me consuming all of these things I do not and can surely cover a few cocktails or even a $30 salad (Where are you going to eat Santafairy?)

Beyond the lifestyle change I see four other things that matter.
1.) Be discrete. I can't stress this enough. Never talk about who you have had sex with.
2.) Go out a lot. Start with one or two venues and then expand. Always treat the staff right and if possible try to get past the server - patron relationship and actually become friends with them.
3.) Figure out if you are actually any good at sex. Most guys are not. Fix that.
4.) Don't become all gaga / teenager in love over girls. This should come naturally from developing the proper lifestyle. There are plenty of hot girls but a guy who has excelled at life is considerably less common. This is like anything else -- the person who has scarcity on their side has the bargaining power. This doesn't mean be disrespectful or an ass to girls just that you shouldn't get all fixated on girls you hardly know. It is like graduating top of your class from Yale -- you shouldn't be belligerent to recruiters but at the same time you know they need you more than you need them.
I left #4 for last because it segues into my piece on confidence. Everyone knows that confidence is important. The idea that anyone can become confident by reading a book or studying anything is retarded. Confidence is the result of past achievement and who you are. If you do the lifestyle stuff properly then confidence will just be a natural byproduct of being better."
It's hard to see it any other way except for that dating is competition. I think Henry17's post above is pretty spot on. It certainly helped me at the time. I can never get that back though. I can never be a young professional again in this life. Nor do I want that. I have to change the demographic. Bad ass leftist chicks. When I say baaadddd leftist chick I'm not totally considering looks. Je ne sais quoi. Man, I don't know. I'm just not ready for sleep yet. In my last therapist appointment she said I am on the edge so close to all these things she just wants to effin kick me off the edge of the cliff if she could. I think with Tinder just no fucks have to be given. It's a fucking cesspool but I have a new strategy of just not giving a fuck about anything. I matched with a "Leftist" tonight.
