- A bantamweight bout between Talita Bernardo and Jessica-Rose Clark was scheduled at the event. However, it was reported on April 3, 2019 Clark pulled out of the bout citing injury and was replaced by promotional newcomer Melissa Gatto. In turn, Gatto was pulled from the fight in the days leading up to the event and replaced by Viviane Araujo on May 8.
- A flyweight bout between Luana Carolina and Yanan Wu was scheduled at the event. However it was reported on April 22, 2019 that Wu pulled out of the bout due to injury and she was replaced by Priscila Cachoeira on April 23.
- A bantamweight bout between Said Nurmagomedov and Raoni Barcelos at the event. However, it was reported on May 1, 2019 that Nurmagomedov pulled out of the bout for undisclosed reason and he was replaced by newcomer Carlos Huachin that same day.
- A lightweight bout between Carlos Diego Ferreira and Francisco Trinaldo was scheduled to take place as part of the main card. However, Ferreira was forced out of the bout on weigh-in day as he was deemed medically unfit due to a weight cutting issue. As a result, the bout was cancelled.

After I thought about it more and watched some tape, I'm switching to Rose.

If Jessica's brawling tactic doesn't work in Round 1, then she is fucked, cuz Rose is better than her in every area aside from pure brawling.

Don't think she's just fucked after round 1. She barely stopped moving forward vs JJ all 5 rounds even as she was getting lit up by a record amount of flush strikes

But I also switched to Rose. Was on the fence and think Rose's toughness is getting a bit underrated and will get her through a few bad moments

If Jessica is unable to effectively use her brawler strategy in R1, then she won't be able to do it in the following rounds, even though she'll try.

She just does the same push forward + spam hooks. It's a good strategy, but we'll know early how well it will work against Rose.

Alves Guy is lucky to get a paycheck. This fight is actually implicitly rigged. Behind the surface. And the commentating is in another universe.

I picked Aldo, just because stylistically he beat Chad Mendes twice, and this guy is so close to Mendes style. And it's in Brazil, that was the only logic. And Aldo still wants to fight, hasn't been broken down.
