All zergs were out with only jaedong and hero left in the ro32. Thankfully they both advanced. Jaedong got a very faborable draw from 16 on too. Best group for him and also on the easier side of the bracket by. Realistic chance of finalling

I thought soulkey was going to do well his lategame/defiler was looking better than anyone (including effort pretty often) in fpvods. Disappointing he went out in that sunken d game. Wish zero had played too but o well.

For that particular game there isn't a VOD available, I'll have to wait for someone to cut that game and upload back to youtube or something

So tempted to root for RAIN instead of the 4 dudes expected to go the distance (flash, bisu, jaedong, stork)

Wouldnt say those are the betting favorites although they are the TLBS legends.

I think shuttle should ve favored over stork. Last over stiork and prob jaedong/shuttle.

Rain is too much of an unknown but he played well and was clearly respected during the selections. Wouldnt be surprised to see him do well.

Wouldnt count out hero if he can make it out of group

Bisu has a bad group for himself imo. He has trouble with hero and last can beat him. That right* side bracket is so tough.

I think ro8 goes

Shuttle/stork
Jaedong/Best (maybe mind)
Bisu/last(i think hero is very close to these 2 though)
Flash/rain

Ro4
Shuttle/jaedong
Bisu/flash

And hopefully a jaedong/flash final

I wouldnt expect jae to get as close to finals but his best terran opponent till he gets there is mind. Light almost surely gets eliminated in grp1 by the 3 toss. So jae has mostly pvz to focus on. This map pool is good for protoss though

yeah i agree people are sleeping on shuttle, i honestly think he's good enough to take this down. he played really well when he won the last tournament and often people get that champion's confidence going once they've tasted even one title. that intangible is really what separates flash, bisu vs the rest. players like jangbi are a unique breed where they only step up during the deeper rounds.

I think he was too busy trying to turn it into a long game wherein he could've just finished it by pumping hydras/ expoing all over / preventing dt/temp drops. maybe overthought it too much

i think hes been back to sc1 much less long than everyone else

his zvts vs mong last round looked pretty good but ya all his zvps ive seen so far havent looked promising

Is it safe to assume Terran is the most OP race but also the most difficult to manage? Im sick of Terran vs Terran finals
Does current meta say Z is the weakest and moderately tough to manage while Protoss is in middle position in terms of strength but the easiest to manage?
