maia ML + cyborg rd 1 at +123 is intriguing i will take that all day. gonna look it up but i dont see how. cyborg had rousey like odds (over -1k and maia -300. parlaying and just putting rd 1/3 drops it that much?
Cyborg's money line (ML) had "Rousey-like odds," not her Round 1 prop.
Cyborg's R1 prop is currently -160 on 5dimes. Maia's ML is currently -300.
yea i get that didnt realize the rd 1 prop is that cheap. i guess it is a female fight and they expect a decision most of the time. when i said rousey like odds i was talking about the ML tho obv

my heart wants vitor to win hes one of my favorite fighters but i just dont see it. maybe he can snap off a lucky headkick before he gets dropped to the mat. prob bet it for a sweat/hedge if he goes much over +300
I've seen some pictures of him recently from embedded and promo stuff, and the pictures weren't great so it's hard to tell but he looks in way better physical shape than the Weidman/Hendo 3 fights. The fights also in Brazil, which is where he had is TRTor run.
If he's back hard on the sauce, his chances are obviously much better.

put $50 on Brown at +235 and Stipe at +140
Just feel that Maia and Werdum have overachieved a bit lately, and that elite jiu jitsu is at least somewhat neutralized by decent cardio.

Brown vs Maia is only 3 rounds. Maia's cardio sucks but it's usually good enough to go 3 rounds, especially with a guy who has pretty average take down defense. And while his BJJ has improved a lot it's still far from great.
Maia isn't just great at BJJ, he's got some of the best takedowns in the division and a great chin. Think he's pretty close to a lock.

Also, the UFC is trying to find a replacement opponent for Uriah Hall.

While I was watching the latest episode of The Fighter and the Kid, Brendan Schaub brought up that USADA (company that does the UFC drug testing) is what they use in the U.S., hence the "US" ADA (United Stated Anti Doping Agency). This UFC card is in Brazil, and Bryan Callen mentioned something along the lines of: "So all a fighter has to do is stay in Brazil for an extended period of time after their fight so they can clean their system and not fail a drug test?"
In other words, if this assumption is correct, a fighter who wanted to use steroids at UFC 198 could do so, and then just stay in Brazil on vacation for a couple months to avoid USADA's testing. Granted, the UFC does their own testing in Brazil and other places abroad, but it's not as good as USADA and WADA.
UFC 198 is the biggest and best UFC card to ever go to Brazil, so finding out that someone is using some type of PED to ensure a win wouldn't surprise me, especially for older fighters.

iirc USada requires to know where they are always. Well maybe not exactly where they are but they need to know how to find them. I think they have guys that can test them basically anywhere. It was on Rogans podcast a while back.

You're right.
Some other guys responded to my original comment/question on Sherdog:
"Don't UFC fighters have to agree to list their schedule and locations on an app and submit to random USADA testing even in whatever foreign countries they live and train in including Brazil? I recall reading numerous reports and seeing a lot of Instagram and Twitter images of fighters giving blood and urine at 7 am and such all over the globe. So no, I don't think they can hide in Brazil. USADA send people after them and if they hide or refuse they can get suspended by the UFC just for not being available for the tests."
&
"Everything i have heard and read regarding the new USADA is as he described. They will test you as a UFC fighter ...they dont care where u live/holiday.
Just FYI Schaub isnt the best at getting details right...he just get really excited."

ugh they require blood? that sucks. I had to give blood for a metabolic/thyroid test recently and did not want that fat 27Gauge needle going in my arm. guess they have to though

"Uriah Hall was originally expected to remain on the card; however, the hourglass ran out of sand before pens could be put to paper. "Prime Time" will be slotted for a future card and at this point, it might make sense to just delay Silva vs. Hall until July."
They'll probably rebook the fight for UFC 200.

After reading Jack Slacks breakdown of Werdum vs Stipe I'm less confident in my Werdum pick. I guess his striking isn't as good as I thought.
tbh this is probably one of those cases I'm way off because I have a giant man crush on the doom.

I think i liked ufc 198 better, but the removal of silva makes it close.
Ufc200 is full of big names, but in fights i don't really care too much about.
Ufc 198 has a lot of fights i really like
james9994: make note dont play against floofy, ;(
