Also (damn I'm writing alot), even if I'm wrong about everything, I think that the voters Bernie naturally hopes to recruit (ppl like me) will be put off by him when he takes sides with israel and it's going to hurt his chances.

First 2 things that pop into my head are change the standards for holding office (i.e. civil service exams- something more along the lines of becoming a supreme court judge. As in the process sotomayor (sp?) Went through.

No prospective US politician is going against Israel Jelle and it would be highly naive to think otherwise. Israel is our closest ally and essentially our proxy state with Nukes in the Middle East. Israel runs the US to some extent, if you please imagine the most powerful lobby in Washington 10× and that would be the Israeli agenda. After WW2 the same people establishing and securing israel we're hand in hand with those running the American Empire. Often times they are the same people and continue to be.
