well thats just ur opinion, man. but you are wrong. their bodies surely dont care if they have 7 or 200mg/day of tst etc. whats ur bf %? ever tried to get below 8% w/o massive strength and muscle mass losses? and maintain at that level? not for days or a week, but all year round? do you even lift?

I'm 13% bf, 85kg, 1.70cm. I get around 10% when I have competitions and I stop eating crap+booze on weekends. The weight lifters on those picks are not below 8% I think, but at 10% they would still look incredibly sick. If you take 40kg from their main lifts the would still be sick strong.

If I was 77kg I'd have no problem being 10% year round with a shitty diet.

I think their unfair advantage comes more from lifting as their job, access to the best food and an entire squad of support staff (A guy can dream)

Still, my point is nowadays anyone who isn't a pencil neck is on steroids. Acquintances ask me since 2 years ago if I was on gear because of my lifts, when in reality they were nothing spectacular (140kg bench back then, I was like 80kg). I'm still natty btw.

Most gym rats aren't strong because they are pussies, they don't push themselves hard on the squat, the bench or the deadlift. They are also retards, once progress stalls on anything they never try to find a way around; like, "my shoulder hurts benching, can't bench anymore"

wth like getting tyler durden bodyfat is e.z

i know most of ya'll think dogmeat is some massive troll but yea it's pretty hard to stay single digit bodyfat for extended period of time.

but i think after my experiences with power lifting, u can look pretty decent at 10-15% bf

LikeASet   United States. Jul 08 2014 04:25. Posts 2113

your set point in terms of how much body fat your body maintains has a lot to do with genetics. People who maintain single digit bodyfat % are usually nigs or skinny dyel bros, maintaining around 12% bf (give or a take a few %) is actually more ideal imo just because I don't like a really vascular look.

skimmed trough, just passed to post pictures of klokov and stoitsov as the thread title demanded

Bonus since we have many asians here: Lu xiaojun

Klokov: 110-115kg, 1.82cm
Stoitsov: 80kg, 1.70cm
Xiaojun: 80kg, 1.77cm (I think?)

Klokov pretty much manliest look ever.

And man that last picture, I need to work on my squat depth haha :[ My hip flexibilty is so sad (and the funny thing is that it's a lot better than it used to be, I used to be physically unable to get to parallel, or even get into the starting position for a deadlift without rounding back).

Do you have any good links/tips for improving hip flexibilty specifically for squatting (I think that's the main limiting factor anyway)? (or just in general) Twisted shared some Kelly Starret stuff in one of my blog posts earlier which helped me quite a bit (got me to where I could actually start squatting).

Kelly Starret stuff is pretty good.

Aside from that, I've found that doing full snatches with the bar is the best way to warm up for squats and make sure you have the proper flexibility; start from overhead squats until you can do full snatches.

The bottom position in the snatch/overhead squat is more than holding the bar over and bending the knees. Your fist should point upward, your wrist be straight and elbows pointing down/back (all of this puts the weight on the upper back, instead of wrist or elbows) and your abs have to be tight at the bottom, your ass shouldn't be shooting away. This position requires more flexibility (our goal) but it's the strongest and the proper way.

Remember you can only achieve that depth on high bar squats.

Tight muscles should loose over if you practice this regularly, however I was so tight and had so many muscle knots I required deep tissue massage and special stretches to loosen up, but this shouldn't be the case for most people. (It was hard to bend down and pick up the bar for deadlifts LOL)

some serious questions:
1) people keep telling me all i need to do are the big 3 (bench, deadlift, squats) so these guys got those abs primarily through the big 3 lifts?

2) that asian guys back muscles...can you build that with dead lifts, lat pulls, and rows?

3) is the asian performing high bar or low bar squat?

4) isn't his wrist a little off ? i thought your wrist were supposed to be straight

5) any website/community/thread for purely natural (no creatine just whey, yes i know this is hardly natural and nice and hypocritical) bodybuilders? just curious what they look like

That is false. Those 3 lifts are the main ones for strength and competition and should be a staple for any workout routine but especially for aesthetics you need to do other stuff also. I mean think about it, those aren't really ab exercises. Abs are as much about revealing them through the fat layers (cardio IMO even though the roiders will hate) as it is building muscle.

On a more serious note I LOVE watching the Olympic lifting...

Watching guys that only weigh 80kg or less lifting over 150 kg their heads is just absolute madness.

Although I could go without watching some of their arms snap inwards at unnatural angles...horrible horrible injuries happen O_o

the survey seems about right to me, most women i know think super muscly dudes are fucking ugly. I agree with the women, that pic 1 is the best. The proportions just seem right to me, like every muscle has been exercised the right way. Super muscly dudes dont have the muscles to run long distance or short distance well for example.
