Funny you post that because I doubt you've actually read or heard Russel's ideas from his own mouth and seen what a man who could say such a thing might sound like when he transcribes thoughts into words for a given audience. doesn't really matter if i've even heard of bertrand russell, the quote is true. i could see that quote copy pasted to Hitlers face and it would be just the same.
And his teapot analogy advocates doubtfulness to anyone that cannot prove something with a scientific method.
Pretty sure you have to have a very doubtful mind to come up with those types of analogies.
