Agree purging doesn't make sense. Obv I don't play online anymore but I've never deleted my database, why would you want to remove hands that you played with someone else. Valuable info lost regardless if you were playing well or not. People pay for HH's from data mining sites afaik, so each hand history text file has some physical value too. You can just filter to 10/25/2012 and later if it's for your graph or w/e you don't have to get rid of them. |

I don't know why people even try to talk sense to you. Or bash you for that matter. The hilarity of your life, and your repeated lies to yourself are entertaining to us all.
No matter how bad anyones poker career ever gets, your entire poker career is a happy reminder that it's not as bad as it can be.
So people, stop bashing. We're lucky to have an authentic insane person in our midst.
Insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Cheers to our special munchkin! |

After re-reading my post, I probably could have come up with a less inflammatory analogy. Sorry about that.

Everything else being said, I do wish you luck.
FWIW, I think you would find a much more rewarding and enjoyable life if you were to get a real job and not have to stress about being unable to pay bills/afford to live. |

Don't know why people keep telling him this. You don't actually know that to be true. Sick in the head may require sick in the head activities to hold satisfaction in life. There's the argument that he needs professional help and then my point would maybe be moot. But until then. |

it should be pretty obvious why people keep saying this. your statement is like saying a coke addict might need to go to rehab, but until then doing coke might be the only thing that makes him happy. so he might as well do lots of coke in the meantime. |

your analogy is perfect because Neilly is also a coke addict.
Coming up next in Neillys blog:
"Im going back to full time MTT - my bread and butter - gonna run it up huge BUSTO OR ROBUSTO! planning to go to Canada for a few months, then to Australia for a month, then to China for a month, then to Brazil for a month, then to Vegas for the WSOP by which time i should be rolled for the One Drop tourney" |

btw I actually kinda feel you SHOULD be playing PLO, at least with some training. I recently bought a DC subscription and have only watched 1 PLO series, but judging from what I'm seeing online, people are making A LOOOOOOT of reallly BIG mistakes. Some of them look like mistakes even you are making neilly, which is why I'd say you simply must get some PLO training somewhere. It's not the kind of game that you teach yourself all that well, so suck it up and do some real studying instead of trying to "be a natural".
Funny thing is even the people with reasonable looking stats seem to make the same big mistakes, just less frequently, so there's really money to be made from EVERYONE. You dont even have to find fish, just join ANY table, even the nitty one's. Nits will pay off with really weak PLO hands, hands you can probably tell they think are strong from their holdem background but arent shit in PLO. |

explain what you mean by "again"? he lost a shitton over an enormous sample on stars (cashgames) for the stakes he was playing.
caring question is kind of stupid, i mean i can't speak for everyone but i guess i do care enough to spend 5-10 mins/day trying to give honest well-intentioned advices. is that an inappropriate amount of caring in your estimation? -.- |

Neilly,
Figure out a way to stop making bad choices and going off for big numbers after negative variance:
-Take accountability for your actions/choices and improve
or
-Hire someone to taze you into unconsciousness if necessary
Best Regards,

"Cashgame Variance is much better and easier to handle"
then you go play 6 max PLO...
you have no idea what you're getting yourself into...historically you had little to no success at cash games i'd be very wary if i were you.
you just admitted that you have massive problems with tilt so i'd stay the fuck away from grinding PLO |
