wtf, 55 hours to make 9 videos and write 80 pages?

the 9 videos probably took me 15 hours with scrapping some of them, starting them over and redoing them. another 6 hours for the coaching and yea probably about 35 hours to write 80 pages and edit it.

Daut, i would be very inclined to release it as reader friendly academic paper if you can get it peer reviewed. Start selling it fora huge amount of money, and then after your initial adoption period, you can spin it off into a book and sell it for an optimal price determined by a pricing model using the data you have from your initial launch.

oops clicked $25 by accident instead of $50. I'd buy it even for $200 but i would guess that you'd make far more selling it for $50.

I really hope you have a section that clarifies the vouching system (or how people view the vouching system / how it runs in the poker world).

25$ is much easier (29.99$ IMO) is much more apealing then 40$ +, simply looking at price.
Though, your book will mostly be for a market where people do have some cash to burn, so 50$ + might be more appealing to your target market, since people usually correlate cheap price with cheap quality.

35 hours to write and edit 80 pages seems pretty sick to me, gonna have to time myself on my next project haha

have you settled on a service that you're going to use to publish your ebook? I'm wondering whats out there.. how you're gonna collect teh maniez too

maybe it was more than 35? i have no clue, im really bad at keeping track of it. the first 10% took a while, the middle 80% was cake and the last 10% is annoying as fuck.

gonna publish it on amazon. they have a cool e-book option. get to keep 70% of the profits, seems like a decent idea to make it automated

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol

I'll chime in on the ebook pricing thing as I released a microstakes book about 5 months ago that has had some success. Basically what Rainkhan said, you have to ask yourself what the average buyer in your target market will be willing to pay. For me, with a book about the lowest stakes I felt that if I charged 50 or 100 bucks not enough people in the market that I was targetting would be willing to pay that amount. As mentioned, a lower price does help prevent piracy but I wouldn't make that a huge part of your decision since only a small segment of people will pirate a book and if you know people you can get stuff taken down also.
