Another Twitter war has erupted in the poker world after Fernando Rosas claimed on the 2+2 forum, that Jason Mercier and his wife Natasha, are spreading false OFC cheating accusations about him.
Rosas, who uses “relaxursoul” nickname when playing Open-Face Chinese (OFC) poker on a iphone/ipad app, claims that Mercier and his wife Natasha have been spreading false rumors about him cheating on the app via a bot. Those rumors have resulted Rosas to get no action from other players:
“Unfortunately, this kills almost all my action since most OFC players know Jason, and the rumor has spread to the point where I find it very difficult to find new action. After the WSOP, two well known players agreed to play me, but then later on declined. There is a strong probability it was due to the bot rumor as they have direct connections to Jason,” Rosas writes.
However, the story doesn’t end there as Rosas reveals that his friend, Jaclynn Moskow, has also been struggling to get action on the app. Indeed, Moskow who accused Nolan Dalla of sexual harassment, has now found herself in the middle of cheating accusations:
“Jaclynn and I are both high volume OFC players and we have spent a considerable amount of time discussing and studying the game. Once it was known that we were friends, the bot rumor affected her directly. As she has been looking for action, multiple players have agreed to play her and then subsequently rescinded. Furthermore, these rumors have evolved to the point where public accusations of her cheating have been made,” Rosas said.
Mercier, who had not been active on the 2+2 poker forum for the last seven years, decided eventually to log in and share his thoughts on the subject. Mercier has so far posted two replies in the thread under “treysfull21”. In his posts, Mercier says he believes that Rosas is “cheating somehow”, but doesn’t believe he is doing it by using a bot and urges everyone to avoid playing against Rosas and/or Moskow:
“Unfortunately, there is no way to prove you are guilty of anything, and also no way for you to prove you are innocent. Before you went public, I was just trying to protect my friends who asked me for my honest opinion,” Mercier wrote.
