Finally stacked him. Running atrociously today but whatever at least I'm only stuck 2-buyins. Such is PLOLOLOLOL. Hopefully getting to PLO100HU very shortly. Every time I get close I seem to have a rough session. Just gotta focus on playing well I suppose !

this river pot lead cant possibly be anywhere near the highest ev play

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

Probably accurate. I insta-potted because I wanted him to spazz and decide too quickly. I think any hands he calls a bet with he calls a pot-bet with probably (just my read on him). Checking is an option I suppose but I don't feel like it does anything other than reduce my value since he's not gonna bluff very often at all here and he'd for sure call with a straight (he's that bad).

I think actually interesting river spot, if your going to choose to lead yourself and think his range for calling 60-pot is exactly the same then that betsize seems the most optimal

I actually think when pot he calls with some hands he would otherwise not bet river with 9x AAxx and sometimes straight as well.

If your read he that he is not going to bluff very often (how have you come upon that read btw) then line seems to be pretty good

I think my read was basically that several times during the session I'd attempted to check-raise similar spots like this on the river after showing significant interest earlier in the hand and he read right through it. Honestly though I'm not sure. Instinct just made me insta-pot it and feel like that was best, can't explain it.
