why? you like betting? we have 422 effective so he can still jam over my bet unless I overbet jam which I dont really wanna do. tbh I didnt really give much thought to these spots, sometimes I would bluff and sometimes I check.

like you said its so hard for him to beat you on the river the spade combos he can have likely checks back the flop to potcontrol as well

could just jam river, if he can't have too much then it seems reasonable.

isn't the fact that only a small range beats you more of an argument for overbet jamming? i'm not saying shoving is good cuz i have no clue, but i'd be happier shoving 422 than check-calling 275 (i realize you didn't know he would pot river when you checked, but just saying). i'd be shocked if calling river is good but i've been shocked before.

eh, i think it's a pretty easy fold if we get raised on turn.

And i don't think we will be getting raised on turn very much, a lot of villians will want to flat with their Tens to make their calling range stronger, as it's not a spot where they think we will be firing only 2barrels with a bluff. We get value from a lot of hands barreling turn here. 2 pairs, tons of 1 pair+ draw hands.
