can you explain why you think betting the turn is profitable ?
I've heard lots of good players saying that its not a +EV bet vs fish when the board doesn't change even if we have 8 outs draw.
Are you planning on firing lots of rivers ? What rivers are you bluffing if you don't hit? thx |

because check calling is not an option out of position, its either bet or check fold, betting lets you realize your equity |

To build upon what tt said, the pot is also 3x bigger on the river so our value bets get paid pretty well too making up some for our 16% equity.
You bring a good point as well. Against passive fish who don't protect their hands we can easily without penalty bet turn small giving us a good price as well |
