for some unknown reason he had started 3-betting all of my opens at a few tables, mostly i had just been folding and tightening up a little bit, but for ex. at another table one of the hands I opened UTG+1, he 3-bet from SB, nitty shortstack in the BB shoved (i folded, think i had 88), since he was committed he called and showed down K7o. SS had AA btw lol

from our history before (which was pretty straightforward till that session) i think his shoving range on river is extremely polarized, obviously it would make some sense for him to depolarize it given all his preflop shenanigans but i didn't really give him credit for doing so, i would not be surprised to see him check back AQ tbh. i'd just never really seen him vbet light or turn made hands into bluffs before.

i don't think he's ever turning 5x/mid-pairs/etc. into bluffs since i'm repping fuck-all with my flop c/r so i look pretty polarized myself. obv i can't eliminate monsters from his range, but when he's 3-betting me with the deck and his value-shoving range on river is so unbalanced nitty in comparison (and my flop c/r kinda looks FOS), i think turn/river play themselves when they're such complete bricks.

i think preflop and flop are more questionable given the dynamics, river is prob the only thing i'm confident i did right

yeah agreed, i was really close to doing that, i was going to if he made it like 11-12 pre but since his 3b was smallish compared to my open i thought maybe there could be more value just flatting since i dominate quite a bit of stuff and it's sooted. guess being oop still sucks tho
