why is he squeezing QTs ;-0

so he's expecting you to always bluff 4bet as the utg+1 and he ships
and you know that so you 4bet only to call vs a ship?
how the hell can such reads even be possible lol?
I imagine the swings @ such games have to be nightmarish? Or does this sort of thing only happen once in a while when there has been a lot of build up and then ppl semi tighten up?

new shit has come to light... a-and... shit! man...

preety sure his reasoning is more like "longple opens 80%+ on the button, QTs is ahead of his range lets 3b, wtf he 4-bets, how can he open 80% and have a hand, no fking way, im all in"

Pretty sure people squeeze broadway cards cuz they reduce combos of TT+?

the difference is prolly too small to overweight the disadvantages of doing so tho. Get flat called by dominating hands too often is one I can think of.

no blockers TT-AA + AK = 46 combos
broadway blockers no A, K: TT-AA + AK - (6blocked) = 40 combos

so people hold 13% fewer "real" 4betting hands

pretty small diff. gets significantly worse if opponent 4bet/gets it in w worse than AK.

-- So I will think about something more interesting, ace-rag,

No blockers: TT-AA, AK, AQ = 62
Ace blocker: TT-AA, AK, AQ - (11blocked) = 51

so people hold 17.8% fewer "real" 4betting hands

From the 3bettor with AxXx perspective:
If villain 4bet with a range of roughly bluffs 50%, happily all-ins with the other 50% "real half" of his range (TT+,AQ+)

17.8% of that "real" portion of his range disappears, so .822 * 50% = .41, so only 41% of that 50% is not blocked by AxXx. Therefore, given a 4bet, he will be bluffing 59%/41% and it is significantly (18%!) safer to 5bet jam over his bet.

I think that is the logic he followed, but non-ace broadways just block way fewer things. Q, K block more.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
btw I am pretty sure this is NOT the proper way to calculate the change in the bluff/not bluff probabilities given a partially-blocked 4bet range here. not sure of a proper method. but I think this is the logic I used like 2-3 years ago when thinking about 3bet/5bet broadways and Axs. Tho someone else prolly told me about it first..
I think you need to use a bayesian method(?) to base rate in order to get the correct adjustment to the likelihood of a bluff GIVEN a 4bet. someone who is better w/ this p(A|B), p(AUB), (AetcB) shit should do it. maybe I'll get more high instead
