Is it that bad? I mean if I check and he bets his AJ that missed do I fold? At least by donk betting I can get A10+ to fold. But then any overpair will call. |

if you bet, you go all-in against all better hands and very little worse ones
if you check, you go all-in with all better hands and a good amount of worse ones, with which he'll try to take the pot away from you
If he shows up with AJ here and hits his outs, that's totally OK. You'll make money in the long run. |
