I'm pretty sure that river check is plain bad. I had no idea what villain had here, he's pretty loose so he could have hit any of that straight/2pair kind of crap. He's the same fishy guy from the KJs hand so he could easily be check/calling 2pair here, probably even a lone T. It is a 3bet pot though so I didn't put him on shit like K9.

He has $7 behind on the river so I seriously doubt I can check/fold. Should I be betting just because we're so committed or can I check in the hopes that he checks back 2pair? obviously since he probably would have called with 1pair I should have value bet but before I know he's so fishy and still give him credit...?

pretty lame spot and it's hard to know the best play against a random fish, but if you're betting 3.20 on turn it should be with the assumption that he's never folding any pair, and that his preflop range is wide enough to include enough Tx/9x/Jx etc. hands that don't make 2p or a straight and you should be shoving river.

if you're not that confident that he's literally stacking off with every pair, you could just bet-fold $1 on turn and $1 again on river or something.

I like shove... decent against his range. Pretty much what said above though... on a 4 to a straight board like that if you're not going to get it in it's probably best to bet light and if he raises then you can fold turn because he'll annouce that he has it

I think c/c is fine too. If he shoves then have to think about it (but if he's that passive I doubt he'll shove..)

i think shoving this river is preety insane against any range this is perfectly fine dude

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

i agree,

u ppl need to do some stove/calculations, so many two pairs/sets are in his range and straights, even vs someone who's calling down any pair, it's quite marginal.

tom you like his turnbet size?

to clarify i wasn't advocating shoving, just that with that sizing he should be shoving, imo gaybetting turn and river is good vs most fish..
