such a strange line that i think they have 88/j8 here mostly. I'd make your bet sizing on turn a little stronger.

what were the results of the hand?

looks v close in this spot, looks to me like he hit a QTccish draw, maybe check raising AJ/QQ+ looking to play for stacks since the 8 doesn't connect much other than gut shots.

Could be random bluffs to, if he percieves you to be floating flop often vs him on a board with a wicked texture such as this

Just remember you need to be god damn sure about their tendencies. -Artanis11 http://www.pocketfives.com/profiles/neillyaa/

we should definitely flat and play river here. our hand is easy to play vs his range on all rivers imo.

I had huge trouble putting him on a reasonably balanced range, basically only 88/J8 for value hands and a vast range of semibluffs, but if he realises how I perceive his range on turn, then he should be giving up his unimproved bluffs most of the time imo.

Anyway:
River was offsuit Q. He went allin (which was like 110% pot size or something). What now?

i cant fold on river here even vs 110% pot size bets. we have 2pair and they should be firing river almost all the time since they know you call turn with some hands that cant call river(draws)

i still think that turn raise is gona be 88/j8 a ton of the time though.

if we call turn arent we obliged to call any non club river?

pretty easy call. if that's how you perceive his range there should be good reason for it, and there's no reason for him to not continue (in his eyes) with his whole range here. We have no idea if he is aware that we are aware of him, but I would just keep calling in these spots and then adjust to his adjustments accordingly.

spitfire - tbh I think str8 draws are way more likely than fd's here.

Well thanks for comments guys.

Of course I called the river too, but didnt feel very good about it. His hand surprised me quite a lot, it was Th9h. Had he shown a hand like J8 I wouldnt prolly think about it twice, but this really surprised me, I didnt expect him to have it after flop c/c like ever.
