Ok this is just for the lulz, sorry for not asking stuff. I like my play apart from flop sizing that could be more, anyone disagrees?

I keep my PF sizing constant for the moment, I am teaching myself solid standard ABC game, although this would be a good spot to raise more PF with the nit and the dumb fish in there I guess.

at these stakes betting 3-4 bb preflop yields greater profits.

the biggest leak here at these stakes is folding to the cbet too often/playing their hands face up
raising more pre is going to yield much faster profit. also the reason why 3x pre is standard is so you can pot/pot/pot and get in stacks. as played you are going to have to overbet on some street in order to get stacks in.

dumb it down u are playing nl25, not nl1000 (where min open is rampant)

I think that's pretty straightforward to bet smaller when my range is weak and bigger when it's stronger and I'm oop no? It suits me at least
I just flip mousewheel on the button to 0.65, CO is 0.75 and MP and UTG 0.85 (my ranges are more or less the same in MP and UTG)

And I miss the time when people were straightforward, the former soviet block and latino people are mad, there is so much shit going on these days, that's one reason why I am looking at my ranges and solid game.

once again i want to stress that i think you played the hand fine. but just look at the river pot size it's only 9.4

if u had made it 1 dollar pre and bet pot on the flop and turn by the river it is
2 on flop, 6 on turn, 18 on river. vbetting in a pot that's 18 vs 9.4 really does magnify the reason opening larger pf is better imo

Yeah you are right. The Russians 3bet a lot though, and I want to keep the size small against nits but I will open 0.85 as standard whenever I have big fish in the blinds from all position. Thanks

I agree with opening to a larger amount pre and thus being able to pot pot shove if necessary. this is because like nobody will be able to exploit your $1 raise. people will not play well enough from the blinds/call too much so it does not matter. especially from the button were you want some folding equity pre with a wide range I believe a larger open is standard 3-4x looks good.
you can also open smaller with your weaker part of range, because it's not like anybody's gonna pick up on this. if they do you should switch tables imo. for these reasons and also from a lot of my experience the small raise is only optimal against thinking, v good poker players. maybe someone reputable can tell you about it but I'm pretty sure here

A nit means you can basicly minraise button. A fish means you can open 3bb.
Both players need a different approach. Just open 3bb when a fish is in (with tendancy to flat a lot in the blinds)

They just want to see a flop usually, let them pay.
