id complete here vs this type of player. he will float heaps of flops making it really difficult when you dont bink.

Not being a nit doesn't mean ignoring better plays.

it's a tough call to which one is the better play. limping lets you see a cheaper flop as you are going to be c/f so often. but building the pot like he did made it very viable to get in stacks when he does hit a set

imo having the lead pf gives you a chance to win pf as well as on the flop when you cbet and is better, even if you just assess the superior play through aggression

bet more flop and turn lol, river is also weak
flop 3.5-3.9$ turn 8-9$ ship river

ok so you win from a cbet and build the pot when you hit a set...makes no sense. your statements imply different things

Raise only if you know he folds to flop cbet around 60% and more on average. Otherwise ABC standard should be always to limp, you will have 3 overcards on flop oop some 83% of the time.

Also you bet too small, on the flop a fish won't fold any pair when you pot it, and later in the hand I'd just target Ax (and hearts on turn) and pot all streets

93% Sure! Last edit: 10/06/2011 05:11
