i wouldn`t continue on that turn ;o I think its a bad board to 3 barrel bluff on imo

he might even call a turn bet with TT/66, he has more straights in his range than you do, and he'll slowplay sets alot.. dunno,

I dont know what a dt drop is. Is it a wrestling move? -OlyLast edit: 20/04/2011 20:50

no, i suck. i mean, i dont suck, but its a bad hand. i have to practice more, i really havent played enough in the past month. been too busy at school.

thanks for the confirmation guys

.. or, maybe just my entire idea of poker is completely off, as evidenced by the hand. but theres no point in telling myself that, even if its true, all i can do is try ~

yea i think in general his range hits this board a lot harder than yours. in addition to all the connectors that have 2 pair (unless you know he can fold that, but now we know he cant) or 6x, theres also JT

um.. theres nothing wrong with your line. Your valuebetting all 2pairs sets and straights on this river. He just made a good call. Thats it.

how often would u open 6x TJ UTG? if not that much , his call makes sense
or he just decides underrep KK pre and no matter what board comes w/o ace he chk/call 3 streets
not sure i would 3-barral set on this board , i think its between 2 streets or 3 streets value hand
i would take bet/bet/check set on this board , or bet smaller on the river

i wouldnt barrel turn. you only have 2 overcards and they have a flop calling range of a pairs +gutters a lot of the time.

Clear spew, like you said you don't rep anything ... he calls the turn with like 100% of his range and your river bet doesn't make any sense tbh, you wouldn't play a set, a str8 or an overpair this way. Not to mention the size of your river bet which is clearly way too weak and tells him you're full of it. Hope you made a note this guy just flat KK oop !

Odds are exactly 50%: it either happens or not

if u arent bet folding sets and AA on this river, your doing something very wrong.

i check down on turn too, but if you barrell turn river is a must bet.

people here are a bit results oriented though.

Enjoy the game
